Pongo
Okay I need to confess and maybe even share;). I am the freebie queen. This year alone I got a AMAZING free art curriculum. It came with beautiful laminated posters(HUGE) of reproductions of art from American History as well as a lesson guide. I got a gigantic kit with DVD's of the National Banking System (Economics Class), another with DVD's of the United Nations and how that whole system is set up (Government Class),Free computer software about space (Astronomy), Free Alphabet Braille card, Free fusion, radiation, electromagnetism posters as well as cd's for each, free Manatee kit, and so much more. Is there somewhere to post this stuff?
Orthodox6
I, too, love stumbling across free, and good quality, educational materials ! I have seen a couple of posts around WTM wherein someone provides a link to such discoveries. I don't know if there are any restrictions -- It certainly is not advertising. Are the things you list still available? If they are, perhaps -- if you don't mind taking the time -- you could list the "active" links in this thread. Several of them sound wonderful for my teaching needs ! Also, are you familiar with this website: http://www.freelyeducate.com/ I have shared some of my "finds" with the webmistress and seen them posted, later, on her site. Dobela
Oh, I would love for you to share. If you don't post here, can you send me a private message? I love freebies and actively searched for them until a couple of months ago when sickness fell upon us. I haven't returned to my habit yet. Here is a free home ec text called Future Christian Homemakers. You can print the entire text off. It is fantastic! http://www.futurechristianhomemakers.com/FCHLessonsIndex.html

Orthodox6
Unless the poor woman wants to PM everyone who reads this thread, she had best surrender to our attacks and post any still-live links here ! ;) (Thank you for starting this thread, too !) There are tons of novels where the vocabulary was pulled from and also a general vocabulary lessons page-65 vocabulary lessons.
