  1. What type of games do you like to play? If I know I can give more suggestions or tell you which ones I've already mentioned are like the type of games you like playing
  2. Kulami, 60 Second City, Rock Me Archimedes, Chaos, 32 Dice, Dice Throne. We also like the two player versions of games in the Tiny Epic series, particularly Tiny Epic Defenders, Tiny Epic Pirates, Tiny Epic Blast Off, and Tiny Epic Zombies. My dd really like Tiny Epic Dinosaurs.
  3. And the other row. Can't take pictures of the rest because they're in cabinets on the other side of the room and I'm currently enjoying my coffee too much to get up
  4. 15+ is an understatement. This is maybe a third of our games.
  5. I have a gold crown that is 20 years old. My mom has had many issues with the porcelain crowns she has. Can't talk to the expense of either because I was 16 when I got mine so my parents paid for it
  6. This is what the playgrounds in my area are changing to now.
  7. I remember when the playgrounds in my town all started going to lower structures that were supposedly safer. It resulted in us kids no longer playing at the parks because the structures were boring. There were tons of slides but they were short and low to the ground so older kids got no enjoyment out of them. In my kids lifetime I've witnessed those playgrounds being torn down and replaced with fun plays structures again. Lots of high or challenging climbing structures but with safer landing areas than concrete.
  8. We sing 'Feliz Navidad' as 'a miece Bob e got' because that is how my oldest sang it when he was real little
  9. The Best Rosy. I'm trying to convince it that it is better then the previous 2 robot vacuums we've had that were named Rosy and broke within a year of owning them
  10. If they're into party games at all Poetry For Neanderthals has been a hit with anyone we've played it with
  11. Today is not a frugal day! Nutcracker tickets were buy 1 get 1 half off so I bought the 4 we'll need. Then we went to Home Depot to get a new fake tree because ours got destroyed when the sewage backed up into the house in June. Originally, had my eye on the $79 one that was on sale but saw it in person and even though I don't like fake trees I couldn't buy it. It was pathetic. So, we got this one https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Accents-Holiday-7-5-ft-Pre-Lit-LED-Sparkling-Amelia-Frosted-Pine-Artificial-Christmas-Tree-with-600-Warm-White-Micro-Fairy-Lights-23PG90019/324025456 to the tune of $299. We got a few other things too.
  12. With the added context, if I saw my dh did that I'd be hurt and not know how to move forward with the situation. I'd likely stay quiet and investigate if it is more than a budding emotional affair.
  13. I did get a big worm compost bin from my aunt's house in the summer and I'm pretty excited to figure that thing out
  14. I just put all of our compostable material in a pile in the back of the yard and either have grass or leaves as the top layer. I mix it up once in the late winter and once mid summer.
  15. The house I grew up in is a rental property for college students now. I'm pretty sure I could knock on their door and ask for a tour. Or show up during one of their massive parties on a weekend and just walk around. It is also only a mile or 2 from my house. Someday I'd love to walk through it
  16. Found a bike for our 6 year old in like new condition for $10. Picking that up tomorrow. 2 bikes down, a million (4) more to go.
  17. Yup! I actually usually go for the cost savers over the time savers most of the time. One time saver that wasn't cheap is Roomba. It vacuums the entire downstairs every day for me and all I have to do is a few corners and edges it doesn't get well once a week, which only takes 15 minutes or so. Then once a week Roomba does the upstairs bedrooms, that is only more involved because I have to carry it upstairs
  18. Of course you are, but those extra payments will almost always do better in the stock market over the course of a 30 year loan. I know I've made more in the stock market then I've paid in interest since having this interest rate
  19. well I just turned the laundry folding and putting away over to everyone else in the house. That'll save me hours! Another thing that saves time in the long run is if I'm leaving a room I always take something with me that belongs somewhere else and put it away. Like once I'm done on the computer I'll leave the dining room with a pile of books that need to go back to my room. I'm heading to my room anyway and putting the books away will take a few seconds. Old me, would have just let piles accumulate until I was ready to organize them into smaller piles for each room the things belong in and then put things away one room at a time. Now I don't waste time organizing mess just to put it away because it doesn't accumulate into a mess to begin with.
  20. It doesn't get wrapped op in the brush. It gets wrapped up next to the brushes on both sides so you pop the roller out and just slide the clump of hair off. It take roughly a minute
  21. That is amazing! I can't wait to not have a mortgage but at the same time will never pay it down faster because our interest rate is only 2.875%
  22. I hope she wears the gown! Another possibility is that people who would get comp tickets aren't using them so they asked around. The professional dancer who is a principal dancer has a show this weekend that I believe he gets 10 comp tickets to, which he didn't actually use this time around. Edited because when I type and talk at the same time I write parts of my conversation
