  2. Well, my latest purchase at IKEA totaled $20... ...because I didn't go and gave my friend a list. :tongue_smilie: She spent over $450... :willy_nilly:

  4. :iagree: He works hard long hours to provide for us. He handles finances. He does any car and house repair/maintenance and yard work. He is my support/venting place/shoulder to cry on. He plays board games with kids (which I don't like). He does projects with kids that involve use of logic, troubleshooting, repair or building. I do all the teaching, shopping, housekeeping, cooking, driving around for activities and socializing. I still think that I'm getting a good deal. :D
  5. *snort* :D I was wondering if you have a "No Soliciting" sign too.
  6. :iagree:We love to play a few very intense air hockey games (with the winner doing Snoopy dance too :D)
  7. Computer is off until all schoolwork, chores and errands are done. Then binge during the weekend. :tongue_smilie:

  16. Julie, :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:. I don't know anything about farming, but I know someone very close to us who had his own, very successful construction business. I remember him saying that working for somebody else would be like a death for him. A few years later they lost everything. He took a job in a different field, works for a big company and he is happy. He said that it's a tremendous relief to not to worry where the next job will come from, not to deal with his workers etc. It was a very hard process for their family, but they learned to trust the Lord in everything and He has provided in abundance.
