  1. :hurray: Thank you for stopping by with a wonderful update!
  2. Just finished "Below Stairs" by Margaret Powell. It's the book that inspired the Downton Abbey series. Quick read and the lady is hilarious. I would have loved to meet her.
  3. I got to go shopping for clothes. Alone. By myself. :eek: And I found some good stuff too! I'm still giddy. :D
  4. :iagree::iagree::iagree: That reminds me to put the bowl in the freezer. Have you seen Ben and Jerry's recipe book? It's great! Their Heath bar ice cream recipe is awesome!
  5. Color code the boxes i.e. blue for Living room, red for the kitchen. I used stickers and make sure they are on top as well as on the sides of the boxes. We had many people helping us move and it was nice not to answer to each person's "Where does this box go?". :iagree: to pp's about the top priority boxes (tampons, Nutella, bottle opener). :tongue_smilie: My MIL brought everyone Subway sandwiches in the middle of the move. Wow, that was a morale booster. :D Maybe someone can volunteer for that.
  6. Thank you! How do you do that?! I've looked everywhere and I can't find an option for monthly view.
  7. Praying. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
  8. Never heard of that one. Thanks!Do you access through your phone's browser or there's an app?
  9. Right now we're using Cozi, but it has ads and no weekly/ monthly view to speak of. I'm looking for a calendar that has apps for both iPhone and Droid can be edited from either device easy to use has some kind of color coding has week/ month view, not a continuous list like Cozi There's a ton of apps for Google calendar for iPhone but not Android. Or we're not looking hard enough? Help me out, Hive, pretty please? :bigear:
  10. That is really cool! Thanks for sharing! :001_smile: I've noticed the socks too. :leaving:
  11. I remember the toy factory field trip, mostly the incredible stench of plastic and creepy assembly line (eyes being put in the doll's head). :eek Candy/chocolate factory - free samples! :D
  12. Train table that we bought as a Christmas present is still favorite, along with wooden trains and tracks. Dry erase board and low odor markers. Wooden puzzles. Various pattern blocks/shapes and cards. We have several sets - wooden Melissa and Doug, foam and plastic. He plays with this puzzle as well.
