  1. Here's a very helpful site http://www.air-purifier-power.com/clean-air-purifiers.html this one is the one I got: http://www.air-purifier-power.com/sharpplasmaclusterfpa60ureview.html
  2. ktgrok, I started Atkins when I was still nursing a 6month old. I think I also kept it around 30grams at first. I can't really remember, it's been almost 12 yrs! I can't believe the scale finally moved for me. I was watching it for the last 2 weeks and it just wouldn't budge. AND, I wasn't really eating totally on plan, but between Sat. and today(Monday) I lost 3 pounds! I know it's going to be harder this time around as I am closer to 50 yrs. But no movement was really discouraging.
  3. I want to be Mrs. Pollifax "Mrs. Virgil (Emily) Pollifax of New Brunswick, New Jersey, was a widow with grown children. She was tired of attending her Garden Club meetings. She wanted to do something good for her country. So, naturally, she became a CIA agent."
  4. I have the 1500 min talk/text and I'm very happy with it. I pay it online with a cc. So much easier than going out to the store to buy the renewal card. I bought the phone at the T-Mobile store (they have limited phone options for this plan) and started it up that way. I never go over the 1500 min before the end of the month. I am not a heavy text/talk phone user. I've been told that my college kids would go way over the 1500 min.
  5. I know exactly what you mean. It's TOM time and I was making Turtle cake for my dd's dance tonight. I just couldn't resist the warm caramel sauce I made up. :glare:
  6. wow! Your screen name certainly fits! I can't even imagine something like that happening in my house.
  7. Okay, that just sounded a little creepy in a "I see dead people" kind of way. I don't know why but that's the image it brought up.
  8. I love the Ents...they're one of my favorites along with Tom Bombadil. So I love your change.
  9. No, because I just can't keep track when people change their names and I can't remember who they used to be (If I happen to check even). Interesting hypothesis though.
  10. Yes, they named the last few stormed this year. I think it's silly.
  11. ugh, don't remind me. I'm not a crafter per-se.. at least not paper crafts. But my son's small Montessori school insists that we do homemade cards for each student in his class.
  12. ] This makes me sad because if that's so then there's a lot of women getting a whole heaping load of guilt dumped on their plates.
  13. my son is 11 and still prefers baths over showers. I think it's because he can play with his legos in the bath.
  14. Yes, seriously. I've never heard of him before and I started hsing in '91... so I think I would have heard of him in that time.
  15. Feeling regret and grief over our choices is not always the same as forgiving ourselves. I think there are some things we do in our lives that will follow us forever. I doubt there's any way to get around it or at least I haven't found one yet. It's probably part of being a human being. I do not think it's all bad to cry over our sins or failings (even when we've asked for forgiveness and *know* that God provides). It probably keeps us from living a clueless life and hurting others. It can make us change for the better. I still deeply regret not being there for my grandmother's death 25yrs ago. I even had one of those 6th sense things and knew I needed to go visit her - right then. But I ignored it and she was alone. I still cry sometimes when I remember that. Now I am committed to volunteering in hospice care and feel very strongly about people not being alone at the end. That's just one example from my life that I'm comfortable sharing. :grouphug:
  16. I agree that it would depend on what exactly you don't agree with AND if they expect compliance. For instance: If you didn't believe in dresses only for women but the church was a dresses only (all the time - not just at church). Could you conform or would it be okay if you wore jeans? Would they accept you or would you never really fit in?
