Yes, I have... but only if they allow me. No holding kids down. Usually it's the ones that hurt (like on their backs or in the ear). I have one son who will not let me near him and of course, he has the worst acne. We've tried everything over the counter (acne.org, etc.) but to no avail. Now he's just in the giving up stage and he's an adult so there's not much I can do without being an annoying nag. I think it's allergy related, but he doesn't even want to hear that.

Me too! I live too close to the city and I think the stress is getting to me. The mountains always feel like home, even though I've never lived there.

I don't feel at home in my current house (1yr) and it took a very long time to feel at home in my previous home (lived there 19yrs). But, with the current house the feeling is much worse. I've lived in this county my whole life, but I still struggle with feeling "at home". I feel like it's some kind of elusive dream. I don't know what you're doing wrong because apparently I'm doing it too! I'm going to read others replies to see what suggestions they have.

Ours turned into a big nothing. Rather disappointing. It snowed all day until 3pm but all we got was maybe an inch on the grass.

just starting to pick up here at 7:50am. Overnight there wasn't much of anything. It looks like they upped the predicted snow totals overnight, so maybe we will get a big one. It's my dh's b-day, so he's happy.

me too. years ago though, before legal pot was a possibility. I was always worried about the sketchy neighborhoods I went to. Agreeing with the others that you should ask for a different route.

We're expected to get something. I've heard anywhere from 2-4 to 8" of snow up here north of DC. The thing is that it's going to be mixed with rain. I'm thinking it won't be the BIG snow storm they're predicting. Plus it's mostly coming from the West. Our big storms usually come from the south. And dang, my car thermometer read 62* at 3:30 today in Alexandria. What's with that??? Yeah, I'm pretty skeptical. My 17yr old dd is giving me a hard time "Ugh mom! stop being a hater and killing my joy." LOL. Another free service I provide. ;) I'd love a nice sized snow storm. Really I would. This would be the best kind of all. It supposed to be back in the 50s by the end of the week so the snow wouldn't overstay its welcome.

I agree. Don't think it's communism either, more like totalitarianism . We switched over the the bag tax last year. Hate it. I used to re-use almost all my plastic bags - still do when I forget to bring my reusables. They were great to have on hand. I've also been reading about the problem with shoplifting and germs in the reusable bags.

Try to find out who this child's parents are, they should be replacing it for sure. As a parent i would be mortified if my child was acting like this and babysitter was not taking care of it. The parents may not be aware of what a loser their babysitter is.

Wonderful!! Have lots of fun learning. After wanting to learn to weave for many years I finally took the plunge 3yrs ago. I'm so glad I did.

I've never had a "forever" house, so I would have been exactly like you. I've never lived in my "dream" house either. That might make an interesting poll, since it seems like a hope for many people. We've been in our current house for 1 yr. I expect to be here about 5-8yrs. Our previous house we were in for 19yrs and I was hoping for only 10. I hated the house but still miss our neighbors and neighborhood. Rather wish I hadn't moved actually, which is very ironic and pathetic. :(
