  1. Fly out of the current situation I think
  2. It is our present. it is awful awful awful fleeing from fire coming like that. You take the most ridiculous things.I fled 4 times last year. The first time I had a whole suitcase of sanitary items( really how silly they are replaceable). The 4 th time, when I thought I was getting better I took a car full of saucepans. 😳 I still have a bag packed by the door of all essential documents.
  3. I am not, I am proud, because we Aussies were giving those vaccines to countries with a higher need like New Guinea. Their need was way greater than ours
  4. Mr Swan on abc radio yesterday confirmed what the qld health minister said. Astra Zeneca for people under 40 is way worse than getting COVID in Australia
  5. 🤣 I think she is still polite , just not ignoring to the extent of other premiers
  6. He was never keen on lockdowns anyway. I have had the feeling for a while that he is beating his own drum and everyone is politely ignoring him.
  7. I cannot seem to upload a photo. Says file too big
  8. I would highly recommend not hardscaping over the tanks. They need to occasionally be accessed. I made the mistake of planting a flower garden over mine and it had to be ripped up when the septic backed up once. Now I have lots of potted plants there that can be easily moved to access the tank
  9. I have never had the level of stress you have. but at my most stressed, when I was on the verge of a breakdown I did the reverse of meditation. I filled my brain with noise I listened to The Pirates of Penzance for 30 minutes or more then went to bed. Every single time I woke up my brain was full of pirates singing. I could not thinkor dwell on anything.
  10. That doesn't apply to the delta strain. Here in Australia there are cases that are testing positive and transmiting it after just 24 hours
  11. Leather Belts can still be purchased for treadle sewing machines
  12. Yes Here in Australia there are extreme heat rules to protect workers.
  13. There will be 2 reasons you are seeing no bees. Bes really struggle to keep a hive cool in extreme heat. Every available bee will be fanning heat out of the hive. It is critical for hive structure as if it gets too hot in the hive the wax melts and causes catostropic collapse. The front of the hive will have hundreds of bees all the way out fanning like mad. They will also be bringing in water to fan as well Secondly in extreme heat flowers shut down nectar production to conserve water for the plant
  14. only my 5th one arrived at my due date. number 2, 3 and 4 were induced. number 4 was over 3 weeks late.
  15. Ohh I missed the creator of the world I will have to look that up for a laugh. I had a good laugh about the 2 naked men running though the bush and having all the police, SES and helicopters out to rescue them.
  16. I do feed the chooks on the way back from milking. To milk the cow I sit with my legs under the cow and my head almost resting on the cow. the clothes become very cow smelling. and as I am not the most perfect squirter, they get the occasional splash of milk on them. I wash them about once a week or if they become soiled with manure. but they are not something I want to be walking around in for extended periods of time. I keep the milking clothes sacked neatly under my side of the bed. out of sight
  17. Some think like a woollen top od a jacket gets put away the second I take it off
  18. Pjs go under the pillow My milking clothes only get worn for 40 minutes every day. I keep them in a neat pile. Everything else I wash every day
