  1. :grouphug: Poor kiddos... Mystery spots are terrible, hope you find what works to get rid of them.
  2. I'll second throwing this one out there. (My ds loves it btw.) The Rainbow
  3. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: I encourage you to keep going and allow yourself some room for flexibility. Use a mix of what ever methods, books, schedules or no schedules work for you and your family. If you need to drop or add something to find your balance, do it. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
  4. Cotton clothing was suggested to me years ago especially the Hanna Andersson sweats, long johns and tees. Their cotton is softer than any other. They are worth every penny imo. They wash and hold up to more than one child wearing them day after day, wash after wash. (And I wash in hot water.) I always pass them down to the cousins or the resale value is high. Expensive, but they have great sales and customer service is awesome. I've returned one boys shirt that had seams across the chest, after it was washed and worn once. They have European sizing and the cuffs make them last most kids around two or more years per size. That equals a great $$$savings to me. Ymmv, but if they are comfy and in clothes weather appropriate...Mom's life is better.;)
  5. They did not work for me, in fact I'm waiting for the new prescription to come in now. I did get a second exam and dr. said the astigmatism might be too high and offered another less "powerful" pair. I'm not ready to give up my full field of vision yet, and the constant pointing my nose was literally a pain in the neck. I can see up close and will just have to settle for now. Your prescription may be off, especially if your eyes are different and the axis is very important. I did wear a wrong prescription for a year once, and the headaches were constant. I refuse to do that again as I was told to wear them for a few weeks and I'd adjust. I did wear them, but they never felt right. Hope you're able to work it out.
  6. :grouphug:Many prayers for you sweetie.:grouphug:
  7. I reuse the bags all the time. Walmart has the green ones in their vegetable section for free if you buy anything there or you can purchase them in most grocery stores. The tip was from a friend last year, I had never heard of it either.
  8. :grouphug:I'm so very happy to hear your good news. :grouphug:
  9. I store the veggies and fruits in the refrigerator too, except for bananas. I separate them (helps them last longer) and use the green bags occasionally.
  10. Snort...You find that person and then hop over here and fix ours. Retirement pay and benefits take up a large part of our local budget. They post it on line and I was shocked at the numbers.:w00t: QUOTE=Rosie_0801;2155407]And I'm happy to report that I've solved Australia's education system problems. Now if only I could figure out who to tell; someone who has the power to implement my brilliant ideas. :D Rosie
  11. My pre-paid tracfone has no fees. I purchased the phone ($14 w/20 free minutes from Sam's) and loaded the minutes. Every 90 days or so depending on the card, I load another phone card, and I have hundreds of minutes that roll over. They have much higher options like 50, 100, 500, and a 1000 minutes that carry the length of time between needing to add minutes up to a year. There, clear as mud. Each company is a little different. Disclaimer...Dh has a phone supplied from his office that is much cooler according to my ds.
