    I'd be kind take the cookies and letter, but I'd say no to any non-emergency requests. :grouphug: If she values your friendship, it wont matter. 1. "I'm sorry, that's just not possible." PS...In my experience, she will fuss and push, but eventually accept your no, as just a no. We say no to those we love all the time, but pushy people know how to keep asking to wear your down.

    My sister's 2 yo opened all the gifts for her, and was very proud of herself.

    I would make what ever your traditional dinner is and make sure it included a good sauce for the shells, a salad, maybe a veggie dish, a delicious bread and dessert.

    I think the ds is a 3 year old, the other a 1.5 year old. Imo, fwiw, the child may not be ready for the level of work vs. the curricula choice not working. I do mean this in a gentle way, and would work to cultivate his love of math.

    Alarm the tree with a motion censored musical or laughing holiday thing, placed in the cat's path. My mom has a dancing, singing Christmas tree to keep her pup away from hers.

    I never gave it much thought until recently, due to my board time. Our library charges a small fee for the service. Here the cost is $1 for in state and $3 for out of state books/items. Check out times depend on the sending library check out policy. Oh, I love having my own too. No time rush and I get to keep em..
