  1. Tips to cut down the amount of dust. 1. Change your air-filter every month. 2. Switch the blades on the ceiling fan. (They can move air up or down.) 3. Install an air-filter system. 4. Increase humidity. Cheater dusting tip. Blow all the dust down and then vacuum it up. Ostrich feather dusters are great, and you can get a long handle one or temporarily switch the broom on in to reach up high.
  2. You are going to have to work that answer out based on your student. Instruction level isn't working at their absolute top or bottom skill, and finding a balance can take effort. Look at the book list and the sample lessons and then you may need to print and try before you purchase.
  3. I've always heard it was three weeks, but the third week is easy compared to the first.
  4. I really like LLATL. Have you checked out the http://www.commonsensepress.com/covers.htm web site to look at and try the samples? You will likely need to find the correct level to match your dd reading level.
  5. :grouphug:It wouldn't hurt my feelings, but I have a sensitive nose and stomach, and for me it's just food. If I don't like something, I do always try to be kind, and I remind myself when someone doesn't like my cooking creation, that it is just food. Since the way he said it did hurt your feelings, speak to him about it, and ask that he be sensitive to you. I hope you feel better.
  6. peanut butter wheat germ, can be added to many things like muffins and pancakes to boost protein nuts breakfast burritos
  7. Don't forget to return everything to the library. This is a self move, right? I'd get the big truck early and start loading it. Check with the company to see if they have any deals. Cancel all the utilities, eat up the food and just start packing. Label things well and consider a master list if you can. http://www.flylady.net has a good moving list. You might check out her site for a tried and true plan. Good luck and Blessings on you move.
  8. This is a small list, and I'm simply listing not endorsing them. http://www.Pottersschool.org http://www.Time4writing.com http://www.Bravewriter.com http://www.Home2Teach.com http://www.Write4Homeschool.com http://www.WriteAtHome.com
  9. Consider a free trial before you decide which option is best. Some places have very quick turn around times, and others take longer depending on your postal carrier. (Here there is no need to return one after Friday because the received e-mail with the next ship one will always be Monday or Tuesday.) Honestly, I figured it would be a waste due to our view habits, but I would give up cable in a minute over Netflix. Wish I could get the news and sports on Netflix...
  10. Donkey-butt... I'd consider writing a letter too. He was really rude and unprofessional.
  11. Rose, I have no real advice other than a little encouragement to follow your instincts. I believe we'll all be left with a few regrets and wishes for more time or a little do over....:grouphug:
  12. Good choice. A little late, but I love my Cuisinart here enough to keep it out on my counter-top:001_smile:.
  13. Classroom teachers need to focus on teaching the kids entrusted to them, and they should be accountable for teaching them.
  14. Thanks for linking that. It looks very interesting.
