This showed up on my Facebook feed today Let's never forget just how ENORMOUS D-Day really was.

In Texas, you can get the form online (The Application for Persons with Disabilities Parking Placard and/or License Plate (Form VTR-214)) from the Texas DMV site. I consulted 2 of my doctors and they both had the forms in the office, so you may not want to print it yourself. The doctor who actually signed the form already had it filled out when I went to pick it up. I just had to fill in my vehicle info that they did not have in the office. I then took the form to my county sub-courthouse. I got a placard and a set of handicap plates. I was gone from work about 50 minutes for both stops. Hope you have as good luck as I had.
