Clearly we are in the minority here. We would be delighted with homemade treats. I have never handed out homemade goodies to trick or treaters because of the well-publicized fear of tainted treats. The strangest homemade treat I ever received as a child was cornbread.

Excluding holidays, usually we run only one cycle. Household members are expected to hand wash the bigger items like pots and pans and mixing bowls. Currently we have a household of six during week and eight or more on weekends.
