Tracy in Ky
Woweeee. I'm so excited and sooo nervous! I can hardly stay away from her. Her contractions are about 5-10 minutes apart, but I am not sure what that means for a cow. Milk has been streaming and dripping out of her udder, and she has been pawing the ground. It may be a long, long night! Our neighbors who are beef farmers came over to check her. It's just a matter of waiting at this point. They told us that it should be today or tonight.:w00t: Edited September 27, 2008 by Tracy in Ky Title edit

Tracy in Ky
She is in serious labor, poor thing. I just feel bad for her! Here is she resting inbetween contractions: Here is her very impressive pre-calving udder. (It is so full and swollen that it has split in some places) Here she is *during* a contraction: And here she is laid out. Don't you just feel for her? MyBlueLobsters
Seeing those pics brings me back! lol Poor darlin', too bad they dont' have epidurals for cows! However, I had my last with no epidural and it was my best and fastest labor.....Excited to hear the news!
Sputterduck
Her poor udder is splitting? I wonder if lansinoh works as well for cows as it does for humans.

*anj*
Poor Daisy, I'm feeling those contractions along with her. When does she get her epidural? :tongue_smilie: Yes, I'd think that Lansinoh would work for her too. And colostrum smeared around on them would probably help too. Please send more pictures when you can, Tracy.:grouphug: Edited September 27, 2008 by *anj*
