  1. I too have kept coming back to see if this bread was all a mistake.. Surely a troll had taken over your account. But no... I too share everyone's shock, and sadness. My thoughts and prayers are with you and those close to you.
  2. I just started this med last month. I don't notice any added fatigue. I do however have extremely dry eyes, nose and mouth. So much so I carry eye ointment, nose gel, and hard candies and him in my purse. If it gets too bad I skip a day or two of the med without the urge to go to the bathroom getting too frequent. Can she take her pill before bed instead??
  3. I have a full size conversion van, and just sold our RV. (a newer model diesel, 39 ft long) I bought the Rv for reasons you stated.. bathroom stops being a huge factor lol. I prefer to take the van on longer trips... yep.. the van.. The rv for one is SLOWER, especially on windy days. It's horrid in the wind. It's exxhausting to drive, my arms get sore from fighting the wheel for hours. The convenience isnt worth the hassle IMO. The gas is a huge factor as well... 5 mpg RV vs 18 mpg full size van. Also, most rv's are basically a plywood box on a commercial truck chassis.. not safe at all in a wreck. Once I found the couches seat belts were just bolted to a piece of plywood I freaked out. I didnt feel safe having my kids in it anymore after that. I did enjoy the times we had in the rv.. but I dont miss it for the road trips. I adore my van!
  4. Boy, I have no clue! I almost think it's all fake...
  5. Wow... I"m so sorry. Thoughts and prayers headed your way...
  6. When my oldest went to kindy they used Zoo Phonics.. we LOVED it. They sing and have cute little movements they do along to the letter names. He also went into 1st grade reading fluently at a 5th grade level. He is my student who loves reading the most. I dont think it was ness. Zoo Phonics, I think he is just gifted in that area. I really liked Zoo Phonics though. It was really fun.
  7. Like others, insertion wasnt a big deal.. not painful at all. I did have cramping with it off and on for a year before I had it taken out. That wasnt a big deal either... Good luck!
  8. I want to wear pants to church.. shaving makes my legs itch like CRAZY for about 5 days after... until it's time to shave AGAIN... UGH. I've contemplated wearing a nice pants suit for years now.
  9. For my GI issues I take zofran once a day (dr suggests twice a day) Prilosec once a day, and questran powder 1-2 times a day. It really helps! I take phenergran when I have a migraine and there's no way I can take that med on a daily basis. I hope you feel better today.
  10. We have a standard poodle.. she's actually really small. She's well behaved, SMART, and highly trainable. We have tried smaller poodles in the past and ours were impossible to train! Not so with the Standards... they are like labs in a shed free coat lol
  11. I've used Hake, FLL, Abeka, Winning w Writing, Phonics Road, and R&S. Hake was great EXCEPT for the length of the lessons.. it took forever for us to get through each days lesson. So it was certainly more "painful" for us to get through that book. I did like the content, it was just TOO MUCH. Abeka was great, I still use the workbooks with my younger children. WWW was a flop, as well as Phonics Road. R&S is DRY, but it's fantastic! I'm learning right along with my children! The lessons are easy to understand and completed fairly quickly. I've also taken All About Spellings idea of using a little file card box (what are those called! LOL) and I put things we've learned behind either "daily review" "weekly review" and "monthly review" tabs.. it works wonderfully for us!
  12. My dh does not help with school... I feel your pain. My 8 year old focuses on reading, math, and grammar.
  13. I just called Tuesday and they answered on the second ring! Problem resolved within minutes. Honestly their CS was so easy and friendly I'm liking TT more and more!
