  1. :lol:OMG! I sooooo hear ya on this one! Only right now in my house it's the mint girguide cookies!!! UGH.
  2. oh, and i love the quote in your sig line by the way..."mom can we homeschool NOOOOWWWWW???"...that is my kids in a nutshell too!!! lol.
  3. Wow i have no idea. i clicked on something from another site and somehow installed it. that is all i know! lol. I had no idea you could tweak them to add more columns or whatever! that blows my mind. or maybe i just need another girlguide cookie!
  4. That is sooooo awesome! My girls were both reading BIG TIME at 3. So it could totally be!
  5. We use them in our garage here. We got some at the local farm supply type store. They work really well if it's a big empty-ish space...because if there is stuff to block the sound they don't work as well. But i think ours lasted about a year or 2 and now i notice we either need to clean out the garage again or switch methods. Hope this helps!
  6. Don't you dare think it's silly to be crying over a cow!! I felt so close to you guys after following the birth threads so closely! It was very exciting!!! I am very saddened by the death of Daisy!!! Big hugs to you and your family!
  7. Ok, i feel like completely unedumacated!!! I have no idea what you are talking about...apparently i need to read this book: WTRFG....
  8. Awwwww!!!! How super cute is that?! And i love the name! (i definitely don't mind the pics! they're so interesting!!!)
  9. OMG! I would absolutely cry!! That is horrible! and family nonetheless. So sorry.
  10. Oh wow! This is sooo cool! We saw the very end of a cow give birth at the fair 4 yrs ago...it was very neat!!! (and slightly disturbing)... Keep us updated!!! this is soo cool! wanna take video? we're homeschoolers!!!! :D
  11. WOW Scuff! It's like we have the same child. My daughter is a "gifted" almost 8 yr old in gr 3.She's ALWAYS telling me about stuff, or asking me things that i don't know...but she doesn't mind looking it up... I pulled her out of grade 2 in apr and that was it for us. She could read before going to JrK(canada here)(she was 3 and 3/4!).....and the school could just not help us enough.... She reads TimeKids Almanacs before bed and in the car, and our classroom is a non-fiction scientific book haven!! She loves to create things with k'nex and lego, or look for bugs outside and study them... We knew that she was "different" when she asked for NO toys for her 5th christmas...she asked for a space station, and astronomy books, etc etc... SO, we've always just let her be, get her as many books as she wants at the library, let her lead the way on ISP's, etc etc...now that we have her out of school she is back to her normal self of STARVING LEARNER. (oh, and sorry i can't help you with what you can do for math etc with your child cause you're in the states and i'm in canada, we have no mandates/restrictions here, so i put her to where she is challenged)
  12. I use the harder shiny page protectors cut, or you could try your local scrapbook shop...i got a couple there a while back...
