TravelingChris
I do. We have cable tv and most of the time if it is on, it is on a music channel. Often I listed to our local Public radio station between 9 and 2 when they have classical music. Other times I listen to music on my computer. If I am driving, I normally have a music station on too. All of which makes me feel incredibly grateful for living in this time period, when I do get to listen to music all day long. After all, 200 years ago, you didn't get that pleasure unless you were very rich or you or your family or workers made the music themselves. MyLittleWonders
I love to have music on throughout the day, or as much as I can get away with in between teaching. I can't usually play even classical during school time because one ds is pretty sensitive auditorially. But otherwise, we like having music playing. I grew up where music was always on; as well, music tends to feed my soul, so I tend to crave it. I agree, I am very grateful to be in a time and place where I can listen pretty much whenever I wish. AK_Mom4
All the time. Every day. All different genres. The only time it's turned off is when dd or ds is practicing an instrument.
kalanamak
I frequently have the local classical station on. Kiddo likes to go to sleep to it.
bzymom
All the time. All kinds. I love the opportunity to drive alone so I can turn it up!
GSOchristie
We listen to CC in the morning, but my kids love Disney Pandora, so we listen to that for the rest of the day. I should find some classical Pandora channels.
PrincessMommy
I used to, but not so much anymore. I like the quiet. When my kids were little I switched from music to news/talk radio (NPR, Diane Rheem) because I wanted to hear some adult conversation. I've just never gotten back into the habit of turning on music. acablue
All the time. Never classical. :D
kalanamak
When my kids were little I switched from music to news/talk radio (NPR, Diane Rheem) because I wanted to hear some adult conversation. I have loved some of the Teaching Company lecturers for this: Harl and VanDiver esp. I LOVE listening to their enthusiasm.
Janie Grace
No, I can't focus on school if there is music on. But I do listen to Pandora while I make dinner, or an indie rock type station in the car. I love NPR though, too.
KrissiK
I always forget about NPR. They do have nice classical music. Generally I have talk radio or nothing. In the car we listen to KLOVE or the other local Christian station.
LeslieAnneLevine
Yes, a lot. I like to have music on when I read, too.

somo_chickenlady
Yes. We use the cable music channels a lot as well. I like to have music on when I'm cooking or cleaning b/c it keeps me motivated. When we did our homeschooling, I would turn on the new age channel for light music without words. Heather in Neverland
Almost never. But I listen to sermons in the morning when I get ready for work.
Parrothead
Periodically I'll turn on something during school. Often it is either classical or zen meditation sounds.
Karen in CO
No, I really, truly like quiet. I listen to music for a few hours a week (kids practicing instruments plus a little of my own choosing), but internally my peaceful sound is quiet. I like the sound of wind through leaves or the sounds of the waves. I even love the sound of the wind over tall grass. I just love quiet. DawnM
Not as much in the home. I listen to music in the car all the time. At home I tend to be on the computer or teaching or have the TV on while cooking dinner.
elegantlion
After I wake up, I do. Not during school as it distracts ds. In the car, always. Life should have a soundtrack of your choosing.
