astrid Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Last night at 1:00 am, our sweet little curling club, 56 years old and my husband's home away from home, was destroyed by fire. Two nineteen year olds have been arrested after crashing their car near the scene. Items from the club and another home they torched were found in the car. The club is a total loss. Built by one family in 1956 and enjoyed by so many, it's gone. Even the stones, made of the hardest granite on earth, are shattered. They had just started a kids' league. While it won't be the same, the saying "Home is Where the Heart Is" can still apply here.
