Joy at Home
Hopefully one that isn't ridiculously overpriced? I've been wanting to try Avon, but also got sucked into an infomercial for Victoria Principal's line. Any suggestions?
mommaduck
Have you thought of something as simple as Cocoa Butter? I have really difficult skin and this seems to help. If you want something name brand then I would go with MaryKay. I used to sell for Jafra, Avon, and MaryKay. Avon is one company I would not use skin cream from as it always irritated my skin. Jafra is on the pricey side. MK is better pricing and decent product. (I don't sell for any company now)
wapiti
I use regular (thick) Eucarin cream. I haven't found anything I like better yet. We live in a dry climate. Then I spend the big bucks on La Mer eye cream.
Ferdie
I use this at night. You can buy at any drugstore and also at Costco. http://rocskincare.com/index_roc.jsp For day time I use Aveeno Postively Radiant Daily Moisturizer: http://www.aveeno.com/facialcare/positively-radiant
3lilreds in NC
I really like Mary Kay. (Disclaimer: I do have a MK business; mostly it's just for myself and my girls.) I have used it for years, and I love it! Do you have dry skin, or combination/oily? They have different kinds. Also, there is anti-aging or not anti-aging. They really do have something for about everyone.
helena
I love Liz Earle's products: http://us.lizearle.com/ http://us.lizearle.com/cleanse-tone-moisturise/skin-repair-moisturiser-normal-combination.html
Gooblink
I used MK for almost 30 years - love it. However, I recently started using Noxema to clean and Pond's moisturizer and am happy with that. I don't think you have to spend a lot for a good moisturizer. :)
Dandelion
I've been using Derma E's Retinol & Green Tea Advanced Renewal Creme for the past month and LOVE the results! I had to switch to a moisturizer with all natural ingredients, because my eyes were becoming irritated (started watering like crazy) every time I put moisturizer on my face. When I switched to this product, my eye irritation stopped - and after 2 weeks of use, I really started noticing a difference in my skin (and my DH and friends have noticed and commented too!). It's now been a month and my skin is much more radiant, softer, and I'm even noticing some reduction in lines. I buy mine at my local health food store, but it looks like Amazon has a great deal on this (a 2-pack for $29.01): http://www.amazon.com/derma-Advanced-Wrinkle-Treatment-Vitamin/dp/B001ET782Y/ref=pd_sbs_bt_3

JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
I can't say it is cheap but I love the Philosophy products. Burt's Bees also has some nice creams and lotions.
Liz CA
Squalane or Trilane sold by Dr. Susan Clark. Google and it should come up. Less expensive than many found on the cosmetic shelves.

Negin
Paula Begoun's products. Really. :iagree: But I may need to start looking for all-natural products, which I'm not happy about at all, since I love Paula and natural products don't last very long in this climate. I'd rather use nothing at all in that case.
lynn
Lacura Q10 from Aldi's it's under $10. I've used Estee Lauder, Mary kay, Clinique, Olay, Avon but the Aldi's is what I like best.
Annabel Lee
I can swear by Roc, MK, & Estee Lauder for making a noticeable difference in deep-set wrinkles. With MK you want the TimeWise stuff for age-related skin concerns; EL has a purple bottle of serum with "Perfect" in the name... it escapes me right now. That stuff was like a facelift in a bottle, but too spendy to buy again. :(
TN Mama
I love philosophy's Hope in a Jar for moisture. I've used their products with great success.
laundrycrisis
Paula Begoun's products. Really. :iagree: Another vote for Paula's Choice. Her products are simple, effective, and affordable. I love the Skin Recovery cream. I am also using the 10% AHA body lotion....on my face ;) A different company's product that I mix with this is DHC's Olive Virgin Oil. It is expensive but using two tiny squirts a day, mixed with another moisturizer, a bottle lasts me more than a year. In the winter I also use the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil at night and let it sit for a few minutes. Even though you wash it off, it penetrates and really makes my skin feel better. I the summer, I mix the Olive Virgin Oil with drugstore aloe vera gel as a light moisturizer. LizzyBee
It is ridiculously expensive, but Aloette products worked miracles on my face. My skin has never looked or felt so healthy.

HollyDay
In my early 40s when my skin didn't know what it wanted to do, I really liked Mychelle. IMHO though, it is pricey. For the past year, I've really liked Cetaphil face cream.
3byzaz
I get Alba Organics stuff from vitacost. LOVE IT!!!! It's pretty cheap and works great. I use the cleanser, daily cream and night stuff. Every now and then the scrub and very light mask.

awtl
My mom and I use this: http://www.aubrey-organics.com/Category/124_1/Dry_Skin.aspx It's all natural and we love it. We keep it in the refrigerator because it lasts us for months and so keeps fresher that way.
