3Rivers
I am always seeking to wrap my thoughts around the available choices out there in an attempt to declutter my brain....sort curriculum into "yes" "no" and "maybe" piles. In my world I think that maybe this will help to eliminate the feeling of being always bombarded with all the possibilities of resources, and with new ones always popping up every day. So, without actually saying you like or dislike, I would be curious to just see the list of names of curriculum per subject with the idea that I can cross off some and investigate others in my quest to decide what I am choosing for next year. Maybe it will help someone else, too. :001_smile: And so it begins. Please add your own to the list if you want: (BTW I am not including companies that are all-inclusive like BJU), but feel free to add them if you like. cottagechick
I was just considering putting a several subject notebook next to the 'puter so I could jot down names of curriculum used by the folks here in the appropriate section. Then I could go back later and research threads and reviews of particular curriculums without having to have it all in my brain :D Terrific idea! MissKNG
You should request the Rainbow Resource catalog, it's about as large as a huge phone book and it practically has everything in it! Rod & Staff should be added to your list too.

Momof1plustwins
Phonics- Explode the Code Grammar- Growing with Grammar I would suggest that you list the all inclusive publishers in each subject category that they offer individually as well (although it would mean more work). Just for the reason that someone may just need to research Math and may end up choosing BJU, but don't really want to buy the entire BJU grade set. Some all inclusives include more than others such as Horizons which doesn't include History or Science. I would definitely like to see this list once completed. 3Rivers
PLease feel free to add other categories that you think are helpful: Foreign Language Critical Thinking/Logic Handwriting etc. BTW, I am avoiding large catalogues (RR) simply because seeing it in print as a generic list (to me) is different from polling people on this list in particular. KWIM? When I look for a furniture store or a doctor's office, I don't just go through the phone book, I ask people...Compiling a "familiar list" per se from people on here from either what you have used or have heard things about is what I'm after rather than expanding even more into every possible listing out there because I'm sure there are millions by now. I hope that makes sense. Please know that I'm not knocking Rainbow or any other catalogue or book. I'm looking for comprehensive from WTM users, not necessarily an exhaustive list although it probably seemed that way from my original post. 2_girls_mommy
Rod and Staff can be all inclusive or individual subjects. You only have it listed under Grammar. I personally use their math and phonics and am trying out their spelling next year. So I would add it under those topics as well.
