I would consider waiting till he is older. I regret getting my daughter braces when she was 13/14. She was non-compliant, things took longer because of this. Then she rarely wore her retainer and her botton teeth shifted. I paid in full, no dental insurance. I admit to getting annoyed all over again everytime I notice her teeth and have been known to remind her how much money I wasted. My son on the other hand did everything he should, wore his retainer and years later still has perfectly straight teeth.

My daughters refurbished MacBook has been the biggest nightmare. Thank goodness she purchased the extended warranty. It is basically being fixed every 3-4 months. The hard drive has been replaced once. Just about every part of it is replaced. Last Sunday she spent 6 hours waiting to have something else fixed (she's in college and has to Uber to store, finals, freaking out college student) Her warranty ends in July, so the next time something goes wrong she will have to replace it. A very expensive mistake.

My daughter goes to school 2000 miles away and has flown home for every break for the past 3 years. She will be home in May for 10 days, go back for a week, come home for the weekend (brothers graduation), go back for 8 weeks (summer research job), maybe come back for a few days before doing month abroad and then hopefully a few days home again before school starts. When she graduates she will be living near her college so the long distance craziness will continue.

Why is Florida the state you either love or hate? I had one set of grandparents that lasted 2 years before leaving. The other set moved there and never left. My parents hated Florida, I love it. It was on my short list of places to move to and my kids said they wouldn't move with me 😄 I love the beach, palm trees make me happy and I love early bird specials. I've been in love with Publix since I was a little kid.

My first one I felt hot from my head to my toes. It was so strange. Now I think nothing of them. They are super annoying and evil. I haven't worn pajamas to bed in months. I'm hot, I'm cold, I'm hot I'm cold. I normally run cold, so when I'm cold I'm freezing, then take everything off, put everything back on. I'm learning to dress in light layers, it's easier. I looked like a nut at the movies several weeks ago taking my fleece pullover on and off every few minutes. I was shivering cold to bursting into flames hot 😬😀
