  3. :iagree: Legally your kids in virtual school are public schooled students but you're still teaching them and your other dc. You're a homeschool mom in my book. I feel blessed that we have so many education options for our children! :001_smile:
  4. I don't use HOD but what about using this? You could just put the cards in it. We use something similar for our timeline because we don't have any wall space.
  5. Threadless looks like an awesome store, thanks for sharing! Mine are repeats.. Kohl's, JcPenny, Hanna Anderson and Children's Place.
  6. We do this too, except now my oldest two girls (14 & 11) insist their clothes have to be in their room but it's much more organized for everyone else.
  7. Creek Edge Press American History Task Cards, it keeps them on the same topics but they will do work at different levels and read different books (I'd actually read aloud the books to the K'er though). I think it would work well :001_smile:
  8. I thought I was going to use BJU 7th grade with some added books but decided not to because it would just be to much. I decided I should just make a book list and have her read it with our version of notebooking and a timeline. :001_smile: I could use some help putting together a book list though because there's just so many books to choose from. :tongue_smilie: We did ancients this past year but we decided to finish world history to the present this year. I need anywhere from 30-40 books depending on their length. Any suggestions are helpful! :bigear:
  9. We only used one year of FLL because it wasn't a good fit but in 5th grade my younger kids will probably be using KISS. My 5th grader this past year used Easy Grammar.
  10. My oldest (dd14) wanted and asked if she could do work in her room. It's just easier for her because there are actually less distractions in her room. :001_smile:
  11. This. I really like the looks of this! I've never seen it before, looks like something my kids would love though. I'm even considering returning some stuff we bought to use these. I also noticed they have Canadian history. :001_smile:
  12. Beautiful Feet Western Expansion it's only a semester course so you could do it over the year a couple times a week. You could read aloud the books and do the questions orally. ETA: whoops, I guess I didn't read the title right about audible.com you could always see if they have audio versions of the books BF uses.
  13. I need some recommendations for Highschool level Forensics. It's just an elective for .5 credit, dd is really interested in the topic though. :bigear:
