This is the first year in a while that we haven’t done a couple of boxes. I haven’t felt great about the organization for a while now, but I just cannot support them anymore.

I was born and raised here, and we still live here. There are tons of secular homeschooling activities. Huntsville STEAMworks has been a great resource for us. The Botanical Gardens here are good as well as the Space Center, of course. We live outside the city limits in the Ryland area. We like it here, but it’s 15-20 minute drive to get most places. I think they’d like either South Huntsville or Madison. Feel free to pm me if they’ve got any further questions. PS- regarding cover schools - they aren’t actually required anymore. We aren’t using one.

I must have a face that says “don’t mess with me,” because I don’t usually get any comments. I’d love to have more, but we “only” have 4. My SIL has 9, and a while back we met at a restaurant for lunch. We had either 9 or 10 kids with us that day, and people were openly staring at us, which I thought was hilarious. But I think if family is being ugly about it, I would set a pretty firm boundary to let them know that is not cool at all.

This is basically exactly what my MIL says, except they married when she was 16 and were married 40 years. She’s been a widow for 7 years now.

I guess it could mean that, but I was actually talking about traveling or going to dinner and the movies. However, I could also see myself being a single lady with cats. (I already have 3 cats as it is.) lol My preference is growing old with my DH, though.

Yes, I think you are correct. I see where your DH is coming from, but from what I’ve seen, he’s wrong. I don’t think I’d get remarried, either. I’ve been married since I was 19, so it would be weird to be single, but I think I’d probably also enjoy the independence. I’d probably date, though.

Kelly, I will pray for you. It must be so hard to keep up with all this information. I hope you get answers, and I pray that it’s the best case scenario.
