I did my big pickup yesterday afternoon. If I need anything else, I will get it Sunday morning early. After that, I hope to stay out of the stores until 12/26 at least.

I forgot about chicks! We’ve done that once, too. That’s probably weirder than ants.

DH and I have both lost 2 grandparents to Alzheimer’s. I don’t like to think about the future. I’m 36, and DH is 44, so I hope there will be some advancements before we get to that stage.

The hand thing is like movements I made as a kid (and honestly still do sometimes as an adult.) It is related to my OCD.

They haven’t changed much of ours. I’m hoping we don’t get a whole remodel. We already have both a Starbucks and the regular Target eating area.

I am a fan of all the weird salads - watergate, Waldorf, strawberry pretzel. They don’t turn out very well when I make them, though, so I depend on others to make them. I’m not sure why?

I’ve thought about it, but I use the shipping pretty often, especially around holidays and birthdays. I could mostly get by with target, but not completely. I use the music app a lot too.

I think you’re right about that.

This happened to me when I was 18. I fell for this guy who worked in my town but lived about an hour away. He told me he had a young son, but he and the mom had recently divorced. I found out fairly soon after that he was not even in the process of divorce, or even separation. I was livid. (This was before it was easy to find things out via the internet. Also I was very naïve, and ignored a lot of my instincts.)

I agree with the others about being careful. I’d point out that he’s already ahead of many people because he owns his choices and admits he was wrong. (Unless I misread your post completely.) I think care packages would be a nice way to be kind without getting too involved. I have a cousin who I came back into contact with about 2 years ago when our grandma died. He is very sweet and special to me, but unfortunately he has a pretty serious drug problem. 😞 I realized I couldn’t be close to him anymore because of the potential cost to my own family, and now he’s probably about to go to prison for drug trafficking.
