  1. Like any smart dog... he's a "raw food" wanting dog... He just caught his snack!! :)
  2. I'd go with Dr A :) I am taking my son in soon... he's 8 and I know he needs help :(
  3. Wow, that would be brave of you! ;) I watched a show about it, and thought that if I ever fostered one, I would wear it and try to not make too much eye contact for a while. Wearing on my back wrapped up like a native baby sounds like what would happen.... I'll read how close that is to what people do... as I watch this post ;) I think that a would be good! :)
  4. My dad is someone who has taught full time in the field of theology... except for when he was going to Law School, which he paid by teaching theology in their University. If my son wanted to "go into the ministry" I would absolutely "insist" on the foundation of teaching. :) So, for pastoring/teaching, I would suggest learning Latin, Hebrew and Greek as the base... with everything else :) Then I would have him graduate with a minimum of a Masters and hopefully a Doctorate. I believe it's best to get through schooling.... and not "skip any schooling"... :) Going to a great Seminary, with good doctrine being taught is essential. I wouldn't suggest anything less :)
  5. Michigan is unusual, as it's a "no-fault" state..... AT least when we were there...
  6. He's encouraging you to feed him a raw meat diet!! Smart cookie! (And btw, we've had ours for 4 years and he thinks that counters are his turf, since they're right about even with the top of his head :))
  7. Here, I think, that if you're uninsured... it's "your fault"... period :(
  8. I've had many, too!! The best are these little tab things that you can get at the pharmacy. SO worth it!! :) Canker Sore Patch I've used a couple brands... just the same as each other, I think ;)
  9. No grain; I suggest raw chicken or beef. If you're worried about the chicken... just feed other meats :) Keep him away from any grain. The good thing for my dog is that I was almost ready to put him to sleep it was so bad, (even with benadryl), and now he's fine. He does have some allergies right now, but not anything compared to before... :)
  10. Hi Everyone :) I'm jealous that MUS has a dvd; anyone hear of one in the making for Singapore? I know about Shangi-la or whatever for having a tutor, but I was hoping for more affordable. I would like to start it in 6A of 6B and continue it through Highschool.... Maybe by then if not sooner?? ;) (We're just starting 3A) :):bigear:
  11. I've been "down under" the dirt somewhere, and decided to come up for a bit of sunshine :) What I've been doing is doing the basics... try to keep the dishes up.... and cleaning the "core" of our house. We have a Craftsman, so for us it's the front to back door... almost a straight line. I also cleaned the restrooms :) I'm now just trying to get all the laundry up... and front to back.... a few minutes on here... a while cleaning... tv on :) Music would be better!! ;) Math done... writing done... clean trash up... do some chores... play outside... just go/rest/go/rest... and again we go!! ;) It's been 2 weeks and I'm feeling hopeful!! :) I have also lost about 25 lbs in the last few months... I'm wearing a "skinny" size for the first time ever!!! Looking back into finishing college... Trying to eat healthy... Seems like each "bite" that I take towards the end of the tunnel... makes me feel good about the next one! You can do it... one piece of it at a time. It's like an elephant... "How do you eat an Elephant?" "One bite at a time!!" ;)
  12. You can add it to salad dressing:) Don't have a specific recipe, but an easy way. I've heard it's important to use Organic turmeric, too. My mom is adding it to everything... cancer reasons, too. :(
  13. Names: What do you think about twins with Biblical names where... one name is the parent and the other the son.... (Eve and Seth) or....any other where they are kinda similar... How about if the names are derivatives?? :bigear:
  14. Ok, so for the Chicken Pox, they can take an anti-viral and it helps!! After my son had it, I'd recommend that you look into it... course... it's cause my son's didn't clear up... and after the anti-viral... "PRESTO"... it started clearing straight away. Normally it might not be something to look into.. but your son is on the "old" side for chx pox. Since people aren't getting chx pox as much... I find that Drs forget to offer available meds.... All the rest... darn :( I did antibiotics for my breast infection when it was because of nursing... It was painful... Soaking in the tub and massaging them helped, too :( Sorry :(
  15. I said one every 6 months... but probably 2 drinks every 6 months. :)
  16. :iagree: This is what I believe... plenty of studies to back it up, too :)
  17. I pay my daughters $5 for hard working of chores that are "extra" and offered to knock off $7 an hour for our college aged daughter. She'd often times rather not pay us back, than work. :(
  18. nope... that's the $60 a month because they want you to be part of a community...
  19. Classical Conversations has one for this... :) Did you do a google search?? :)
  20. Nope :( Although I appreciate the thought, there's no way I'd let my kids eat homemade treats. :( Course... I'd prefer my kids just do trick or treating in a "safer" environment than door to door. :( My husband disagrees... so all around they go. We do live in a pretty "safe" town... ;(
