fraidycat
It won't let me react to the post, but yikes!!
HomeAgain
It turns absolutely yellow here, too. Instead, we've got 3-4 drying racks going in the house all summer long. I miss being able to put my sheets out and getting that nice fresh air smell with them!
almondbutterandjelly
I live on the coast of Texas. Our nice fresh air has a distinct fishy smell. Oh, and it’s pollen season. No line dry for me!
Grace Hopper
No outdoor line dry here for the same reason. I do hang dry a lot inside, though.
MercyA
Same! I hang a lot inside on my garment rack, though.
Bootsie
It took a couple of days for that much? Be glad you aren't here. The road in front of my house looks like the Yellow Brick Road it is coated with so much pollen.
rebcoola
Yes here to and the dust is terrible. 8 loved using the line in Wisconsin.
stephanier.1765
I can't tell you how many times I've taken my car through the car wash lately just because of that. I'm using an indoor rack placed under the living room ceiling fan. It's amazing how fast they dry that way.
TheReader
Ah, the lovely yellow hue of spring oak pollen! Here, too.
Forget-Me-Not
Too windy here and the yard isn’t finished yet so dust everywhere. I have a hanger rod in my laundry room and a drying rack that I use liberally in the house though.
athena1277
When dh left for work yesterday morning he called and said everything was yellow. A lot more than we usually see. Thankfully it rained later to knock some of it out of the air. Hope you are well stocked on allergy meds. It may be a long spring.
MEmama
That's the pine pollen in June here. Every surface inside and out gets coated in a thick layer of yellow, you can literally see yellow sheets in the air from the trees and when it rains the roads fill with yellow pools. It's disgusting and every year I am surprised by how bad it really gets. Of course it gets all gunked up in the lungs too, and skin feels gritty--worse if it's also humid and then you're gritty and sticky at the same time. El...
And so it begins! I love having windows open in the beautiful weather. Last year I had the kitchen window open and my coffee maker got coated with pollen. Kachew!
