freesia
Your house, too? My oldest can only sing Hamilton at the top of his lungs.lol I'm actually glad the resale value in NYC for tickets is 3000 $ because even my kids understand that that is an insane amount of money for a ticket and there is no way we could afford it. BooksandBoys
That is sad. I'm still singing it nonstop. It's been 9 months.
Lady Florida.
How about this? ;) Can't stop listening.... Love it! I had to share on facebook. In my house I'm the one constantly playing the soundtrack. Fortunately for my family I mostly play it on my phone and use my ear buds to listen.
Beaniemom
Hamilton has temporarily been replaced by Pentatonix Christmas music but dd10 still canbe heard mumbling lyrics when she has her headphones on.
Alice
How about this? ;) Do you have Hamilaria? Those were awesome! I love the soundtrack. But my two boys are trying to memorize most of it and at times it gets to be non-stop. ;)
SproutMamaK
Did you hear that he's going to be producing the music for Pat Rothfuss' Name of the Wind? If there was one thing that could have made me more excited for those adaptations, it's Manuel's involvement.
RoughCollie
My kids all love Hamilton, and I like it, too. But they play the music, sing the songs, and even their conversations include Hamilton quotes. I must have told them to talk less, smile more about a million times! I am considering playing the South Pacific soundtrack continually for a few days. Then I will find a way to quote the songs during every conversation I have with them. If that doesn't work, I'll engage them in duels. Edited December 17, 2016 by RoughCollie
Rebel Yell
Even my martial arts girl loves Hamilton. One of the boyfriends is now a HUGE fan too. There is no escape, and I'm OK with it. It helps that they actually know all the lyrics and can sing in parts/harmonize. With three girls, Schuyler Sisters is AWESOME!!! Especially since the syllables of their names fit with the Schuyler names... Bonus: the girls have been digging up old Electric Company videos. Silent E is a Ninja has always been a favorite, especially since our quiet martial artist's name starts with E.
Jan in SC
Just tell them that Hamilton was last year and you'll get them the Dear Evan Hanson soundtrack soon.
catz
Well, my dd and I saw Fun Home this week and now it's the day and night Fun Home singing circus here. LOL. :D
Farrar
Ds is in Thoroughly Modern Millie this weekend, so that's also been on constant sing-a-long here. When he got the part and heard "The Speed Test" he was like, oh my gosh, I'm going to have to sing as fast as Daveed Diggs!
Storygirl
I've been reading about Hamilton for months online, but I haven't heard the music. So I'm way behind the times! But DH made me feel better. I just asked him if he has heard any of the songs from Hamilton, and he said, "What's Hamilton?"
poppy
I'm there too but. Opened this thread during Stay Alive (reprise) and even now - it does hit me in the tear ducts.
