Χάων
DS wants to know if your cat sleep with his/her tongue sticking out. That is all.
Dory
My manx that I had as a kid did, and my sister's cat does.
1GirlTwinBoys
I bet that's cute.
Belacqua
Not that I've noticed. She does occasionally sleep with her eyes open, though, which is thoroughly creepy.
zoobie
You mean staff of cats? ;) One of ours did as a kitten. So cute!

Mergath
My cats don't, but as a kid I had a dog who did that. :)
GailV
I've seen them do it, but not on a regular basis. I guess when you sleep 15 hours a day you like to mix it up a little insofar as positions, locations, tongue position, etc.
Tanaqui
I used to have a cat which did that habitually, but that cat also chewed on all my clothes. Other cats only do that occasionally, and isn't it adorable?
TechWife
Sometimes, but not usually.
candicane
Sometimes. Our youngest one does it even when she's awake.
mom2samlibby
Sometimes. It's when he is really, really tired and relaxed.
Chris in VA
Rarely. It's funny when she does it and then wakes up--you can see her expression change as she puts her now-dry tongue back in her mouth--as if it shouldn't have gotten dry because now she has to deal with it, and she's the Queen, so even her tongue should obey her... redsquirrel
I've had many cats over the years. Most have not but a couple did. I had one that would only drink by dipping her paw in water and licking it off. Then she would walk around shaking her now wet paw off and generally be annoyed her paw was wet. She wasn't the sharpest tool in the box.
Audrey
Some of our cats do that sometimes. Sometimes, I catch a cat just sitting there, not asleep, with its tongue sticking out just a bit. I could say that it's just some kind of weird cuteness, but I highly suspect they're slyly giving me the raspberry. ;)
Cindy in FL.
I've never seen our cat sleep that way.
