Did anyone else watch it? The churchyard scene was heart-wrenching!!! They said on our PBS station that Season 2 will start in late March. I can't wait!!!

Yes, and I loved the music for the scene. How appropriate to be singing about Emmanuel coming to us while they were serving her as Christ would!

Mrs. Jenkins was adorable. I loved the scene where they put her to work making costumes and integrated her into the community. I wondered about the fate of the unwed mother -- would she really raise her child to adulthood, or would she falter along the way? Call the Midwife is such an amazing show!

It was a great christmas special. I don't normally like period dramas but I really like Call the midwife. I am so happy we saw more of Chummy- I really like Miranda Hart.

I just finished watching it. I could identify with several of the nurses. It made me think of my first years as a nurse. I've worked L/D as well as public health. I hope I can figure out when it is scheduled to come on. I would like to watch the entire series.

I loved it! I watched it with my preceptor and our assistant shortly after attending a birth that afternoon.
