Colleen
Pretty please with sugar on top, don't tell me how enviable our cool temps are. Not now. Just...not now. Because much as we Western Washingtonians appreciate not being hit by tornadoes and ridiculously high temps, we rilly, rilly want to stop wearing fleece and lighting fires in wood stoves. Rilly. A whole lot. Grrr....
Aubrey
92. Colleen, pass the fleece. I'll trade you for the chance to wear any. clothes. at. all.
Lisa at Home
AND muggy, which is just about unbearable. And to think, I only turned the air on for the first time last week! It went straight from cold to hot. Wierd weather this year...windy, too! ~Lisa
5wolfcubs
A balmy 103 degrees...but it's a dry heat. :001_cool:
Colleen
92. Colleen, pass the fleece. I'll trade you for the chance to wear any. clothes. at. all. Oh, all right. I'll let you covet the weather here but only because you're pregnant.;)
Aubrey
Oh, but the humidity is nearly 50%, the heat index is... huh, only 95. It's the a/c in my apt that's driving me crazy!!! Or the pg hormones. Heh heh.
*anj*
It is 99 right now. It's supposed to get up to 96 with thunderstorms. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 99. I just got an email inviting us to the beach with friends tomorrow. I love the beach, but not when it's that hot. Too darn hot.
sleepy
A sweltering 98 degrees and humid.
Rich with Kids
My thermometer reads 96 degrees. Two more degrees and we'd have a boy band. :001_huh:
LizzyBee
102 degrees But we're having a cold wave tomorrow. It's supposed to reach only 100 degrees.
Julpost
It's somewhere in the 90's here in Vermont and I'm just dying! The a/c is broken in the van and dh is at work and hasn't had the chance to install the window units in the house.
Caroline
It is 91. I am glad our air conditioners were replaced Monday-Wednesday last week. It was expensive, but well worth it.
kristavws
62. I'm currently wearing a turtleneck and a sweatshirt. I lived for years in the land of never-ending 90s and 100s, so I do sympathize, although I don't miss it. Krista
elegantlion
95 with high humidity. Sweating is good for you, right?
Tammyla
80' high humidity and we're under yet another tornado watch. Ya'll are making me feel cool with the other temps though. Oh, and did I mention flooding...:glare: Stay cool, everyone except Colleen. Wishing you sunshine and lots of heat.
Jenny in Atl
Says, 94 will "real feel" 98. But I'm used to it and feel awful for those in NJ & NY who are not used to these kinds of temps. NYC is not fun when it's in the upper 90's. DC... That's a whole other humid planet. :ack2:
Mrs Mungo
High of 87 in Western Oahu today.
genie
An enjoyable 73 right now. We will be heating back up to the 90's in a few days, though.
Desert Rat
I have pity for y'all! I live in the desert and it's only 97 today! Hang in there!
Vicki
It's only 97 today. After over a week of temperatures between 101-108, I glad its below 100. God bless, Vicki
Jennifer in MI
We are having the weirdest weather! Last Wednesday I was at my kids' baseball games in pants and a sweatshirt. Thursday, we turned on the AC!! It was 94 and HUMID!! Today it was 96 (according to the thermometer outside our house) and HUMID!! We just had thunderstorms (and tornadoes - thank God for basements!!) pass through and it's now 72 (but still humid).
LadyR
It reached 100 degrees today.
Dee22
The high today here in SE Virginia was 104.
PinkInTheBlue
The temp do-dad on my van registered at 102 coming home from the movies and here in extreme south Alabama I'm pretty sure we were at or near 100% humidity. It's been miserable for days and more to come of the same. Sure would love a break! It's hit hard and fast this year. At least when I'm in Arizona it'll feel like walking into an oven rather than the sauna it is now.
