Frontier Mom
8 years here. We've always homeschooled so that is just counting "officially since K." However, actually its been 13 years and my oldest is now 5' 9".
Julie in GA
My oldest ds will be 14 next month. When he was 4 I began "officially" home-schooling him with the pre-school kit from "Sing, Spell, Read and Write." A couple years later (1999 or so), I read TWTM and things really started taking off. BUT---ds insisted that I do workbooks and teach him to read when he was about 3, so really 10 years. DD is finishing up her first year of high school (YIKES---where DID the time go) and ds is finishing up 6th grade ;) Thank you!!! public schools for being SOO horrible---I have loved, loved this journey----it is challenging but gets better every year :D
Kim in Appalachia
9 years! It has gone by fast. I remember how confused I was when we first started. My youngest is 3 so I have lots more years.
Closeacademy
I count from the time I pulled my oldest out of preschool. We are entering our 6th year of homeschooling. But if you only count grades required by law then we are on our 4th year because Kindergarten is manditory where we live.

Three left - I'll be 58 when my youngest finish high school.
