Romantic coming of age movies appropriate for 10 year old dd

Does anyone have movie suggestions for my 10 yo dd? She is pretty sheltered so I need them to be sweet and not too shocking for her. She is interested in innocent romantic girly movies (if there is such a thing). Anything really that you think is a must see for a girl this age. Thanks for any help! :)

And the whole BBC set of productions of Austen books (PBS ran them all a couple of years ago - they're all from different eras). Don't just stop at P&P!

i really agree with all of the suggestions. ...tuck everlasting, princess bride, definitely all of the jane austen films!! i watched jane eyre last night & was very good too. i recently watched north & south too ...that is the best kiss in a movie i've ever seen -- my almost 10 year old enjoyed it with me.

Princess Bride is the best movie ever! When I was pregnant with ds, my father would babysit dd every week. First they'd watch Princess Bride, then have sword fights, eat lunch, read a part of the book, and spend the rest of the day repeating favorite movie lines.

I LOVE this movie. The best part is when she saves herself instead of waiting for the prince to rescue her.
