Snowflake Craft

Ok, I've run into a problem. I have the 6 separate pieces--they came out fine.

How do you tape them together in the middle? Do you overlap? Folded or out at the tip? It looks like the sides are taped, then--but I can't get it right! Help!

Here's a couple of pictures of last year's snowflake (that's still hanging up--where's that sheepish smiley?). Sorry if the pics are a little fuzzy.

I'm not sure exactly how to describe how the middle is taped together...the tips don't quite come together into a perfect point in the middle. I think it might be easiest to tape 2 tips together, side by side, and then do the same 2 more times, until you have 3 sets of 2. Then tape the 3 sets together the best you can.

My daughter tapes all the sides together first. Then in the middle she folds the points together and puts a piece of tape around them. It is not a perfect point, but it works and looks great. I hope that helps. :)

I made one last year, and, uh, it's still hanging in my dining room. :tongue_smilie:

Ha--us, too! (well, ours is in the living room). We had a whole row of them taped to the ceiling, and all except one eventually fell down. We need to make some friends for that one this year.
