Tangerine
I looove Emails From Crazy People (the website). Here are two I thought the homeschoolers might enjoy. Enjoy the rest of Emails From Crazy People at your own discretion. Sometimes the crazies come with the obscenity. But these two are clean (and relevant). If you have no patience for smartypants kids (I totally dig them) or crazy teachers, then move along move along.... http://emailsfromcrazypeople.com/2009/09/07/anthropomorphic-personification-is-no-laughing-matter/ http://emailsfromcrazypeople.com/2009/07/29/old-school-anger/

smrtmama
Those are both fairly accurate examples of why we left public school and started homeschooling. Both emails could have been written by my son's 3rd grade teacher.
KidsHappen
The first one is funny as heck but the second one would have me composing a crazy email of my own probably something to the effect that I teach my children to question authority especially when it is clearly coming from and idiot. :glare:
Lovedtodeath
Wow. Those teachers have some bright children that they are feeling threatened by. Eh?
unsinkable
Can you laugh and weep at the same time? Those poor students. I hope they have parents that can put this right for them.
Pajama Mama
The line naming is hysterical. The second email sounds like my old school. I was marked wrong for spelling "cookie" when clearly "cooky" was the correct spelling. I was really upset and my mom went to the 2nd grade teacher and had to tell her that "cooky" was WRONG. Funny anyway. Every August, I'm always so happy to not have to pick up one of those thousands of school-supply lists...

Janet in WA
My comments: Student #1 sounds just like my youngest son. We saved teachers endless grief by homeschooling him. Student #2 should run for congress. He apparently even had the self-restraint not to call the teacher "boy".

elegantlion
I spent about 30 minutes laughing through the site. Some are not child friendly, but hilarious none the less. Thankfully my ds was not in the room otherwise he would have asked.
Impish
Oh my goodness. The school supply list one made me choke on my coffee. Interpretive dance, indeed. Someone needs to tell that mom about homeschooling...she'd fit right in. :D
