  1. I often stir a spoon of cocoa mix into my coffee.
  2. They admit it. (The owners—not the dogs. ;))
  3. I think it's ridiculous—especially pet owners who lie about having a "support animal." At least I've never seen any pets in a restaurant yet.
  4. Not a big deal either way. I have plenty of room in my fridge for condiments but a tiny pantry. Sometimes I even put unopened salad dressing or mayo in the fridge (gasp!).
  5. I follow what the label says about whether to refrigerate condiments—for example, the Worcestershire and soy sauce I have both say "Refrigerate After Opening," so I do.
  6. When I returned to the workforce after being a WAHM/homeschooler, I listed freelance writer and editor in my resume. I briefly elaborated on the type of freelance work I had done in the cover letter to explain the gap in outside employment. I did not put homeschooling on my resume and don't think I even mentioned it in my cover letter, though I did list co-op teaching and other homeschool-related volunteer activities in the volunteer work section on my resume. Homeschooling did come up during the interview, so I addressed it then.
  7. I'm only interested in Ragnarok because I'm a Taika Waititi fan, but I'll wait until it's out on DVD/streaming. I am planning to see Murder on the Orient Express. The funny thing is I don't remember "who dun it" even though I read the book.
  8. Ideally I prefer to go with the flow, but just like you said—if I don’t plan things, they tend not to happen at all.
  9. I would neither lie nor offer too much information like how many you’re hosting or how many you’ve hosted in the past. I would repeat that you already have plans that day and won’t be able to get together on Thanksgiving, then wish them well. If you’re interested, suggest a time to meet up at a restaurant or other location on another day—maybe sometime later that holiday weekend.
  10. What does that have to do with what I said? You should stop reading so much into comments and try just reading them.
  11. Regardless of what he checked on any paper form, the dealer would have still had to do a federal background check. That didn’t pull up anything on him because the Air Force failed to notify civilian law enforcement and the federal database was not updated.
  12. I take my bullet journal with me when I go to a meeting or whatever away from my desk and might need to take notes. There are different sizes and types of Moleskines and similar notebook/journals. You could probably put one on a lanyard if you wanted, but I’m not sure why that would be necessary.
  13. I don’t think any of these names are gross.
  14. No. Sorry that was unclear. I meant I agreed with your post but have seen similar valid concerns dismissed in other threads.
  15. In a previous thread, similar comments were dismissed as "NRA talking points."
  16. I found mine on Poshmark. They were new without tags and cost me a fraction of the retail cost.
  17. This. His SSN is his SSN, period. If their system is rejecting it, why is it his problem to fix?
  18. I've done this before and also worn a similar look with black dress pants and heels.
  19. A coworker has lost over 100 pounds on it and is still sticking to it after a year and a half or so. ETA: I can't remember exactly when she started the program and began losing weight, so it may have been a little longer than that.
  20. You aren't the bad guy. You aren't the bad guy. You aren't the bad guy. Don't let anyone make you doubt that. :grouphug:
  21. I agree. I would never report someone to CPS in order to get them parenting help or for questionable behavior as opposed to unquestionable abuse, which this is not.
