At our local laser tag place the number one rule is NO RUNNING. So maybe not as big of a workout as other places that allow it. My 12 yo dd went for the first time last year she has limited athletic ability and has never shot anything with accuracy but she had the "best time ever".

I'd like to thank the op and responders to this post. I am in a slightly similar situation and the thoughtful replies will help me to make a change for the better in my household.

Avoid the drama. Find someplace else to be.

We got ours from a friend a few months ago. His name is Mr. Pig. :laugh: We use shredded paper for bedding and clean every couple of days. (I can't stand the smell when it goes more than every other day and I'm allergic to hay) He eats pellets, hay and everything else we give him. Apples, carrots, pears, greens all in moderation. He loves to be held, although it took a while for him to get used to it, he was a bit neglected at his former home. He is a social little guy and loves to whistle at you when you walk by. I learned recently that they can swim, so we plan to set something up in the summer.

Last year dd was in a private school and had at least one hour of homework nightly, which was pure torture. She is now in public and can mostly get it done either in class, her one study hall, or in the after-school homework club. Rarely does she bring anything home. She has become a much happier child. Likely it equals out to the same amount as last year but this schedule works better for her.

The technician can make or break the procedure. I had my first mamo recently and the tech was the best ever. On the retake I had a different tech and it was not as comfortable. Same machine, different person. Sorry you were so uncomfortable.

I try to keep the front yard weed free. It's a small front yard, so it's not hard to do. The backyard I let nature take its course. I love dandelions and violets (we have white and purple). I don't care for the creeping charlie though.

I turned off the crock pot last night at 6pm after it cooked for 8 hours. I forgot all about it until I walked in the kitchen this am at 6:30. Should I toss it?

I just searched super bowl bingo and printed one that I liked. We are playing for a box of candy. :laugh:

wings, veggies and dip, chips and salsa, cheese and crackers, sausage, jello shots I don't care much about the game because its not the Packers. :glare: But I did find a super bowl bingo game that we plan to play and that should liven things up.

I love the looks of rocks and bricks. Our last house had bricks placed the short way around the flower beds, and our current house I got our rocks from freecycle. Check out craigslist, I've seen an occasional post for bricks and rocks.

My dd is pretty particular about her name. Her name is Naomi. Rhymes with nay, hay, bay. My sister was the worst offender. I dislike when people shorten my name. I never recognize that they are talking to me.

As littles I did that all the time. Now that they are older, never.
