Do you belong to a church or maybe you can call an area church to see if they have resources to help her or could direct you with help for her. Even if you help financially, I'd do it through a third party so it is not directly coming from you to her.

I know some math programs offer great suggestions for hands on math games/etc. using various manipulatives in their teacher's manuals. We're using Teaching Textbooks, which is going great, but I'd like to add in a supplement. Does anyone know of a book or anything we can add on? Any recommendations? Does it exist? Ds4- grade 3 and ds3- grad3 5.

Just for further documentation and to show she followed through completely as far as the medical goes, I'd make a call to the boy's doctor's nurse tomorrow and ask they document the dose was given late in his medical record. Document, document, document.

We just started and LOVE it too.. I sit with him while he does it but he's only 9. It has taken all the agony out of the writing portion. And even if it is too easy, I'd rather him excel at something right now since EVERYTHING else is so difficult for him.

I'm looking for something I can turn into a game or sequencing for ds4 for learning his months of the year, which months go for which seasons, etc. I can easily just make something but thought I'd see if someone knows of a printable first. He has lots of trouble with long-term memory so while he can sing the memory songs, we need to add some visuals. Thanks in advance!

Well, we did our first co-op classes last week. I quickly found out I forgot to remind my boys not to interrupt the teacher/speaker. We discuss so much and while I know they are quiet during church, it never ocurred to me to teach them about raising their hands, waiting for open discussion, etc. They were just super excited and enthused but it came off as a bit annoying. We're prepared for this week!

Not allowed here either or in any of the surrounding school districts. Is FFA only for public school? Do any of the private schools have FFA? I am not familiar with it at all but if a private school offers it, homeschool or co-ops should be able to.

I mostly lurk here but we were part of the Magnolia Fire. We were evacuated twice- 3 days the first time, came home, saw the damage, and then 2 days the second time. Thankfully our home was spared as was all in our subdivision but one. Our fences are burned and yards, 2 neighbors sheds. Our big pines burned at the bases. Our park play structure literally melted. It was surreal. Tomorrow our house is getting carpets cleaned and a/c ducts cleaned. We're just so thankful for the firefighters, many volunteers, who saved our homes. We can see where their truck pulled up onto our front yard and see their sooty footprints all over our drive.

My ultra-sensitive almost 9 yo and I saw that in the theatre. It was awful. He had tearing streaming and he was fighting making any noise so that no one would know.

Praying for all of TX. We can smell smoke too. I think our smell is from a small grassfire VERY near our subdivision that is contained. But, I worry there just an ash or something and it will restart.

My 10-yo has had very little writing. I ordered WWW4 and decided we needed to start with WWW 3 so I shelved 4 and will start with 3 when it gets here.

101 Dalmation Christmas ornaments from the 90s and the Legos have been favorites here. Ds also traded and collected all the mini super hero action figures.

Our order was split into 3 boxes but they all arrived. It was like Christmas here. I went to their websit and it now shows their giving a shipping discount because of the popularity of the sale. I will resist ordering again though.
