There are many viruses running around now. But I would bring a stool sample and get the pup tested for parasites. Along with regular blood tests to see what is going on.

It may have a sensor on that setting that doesn’t dry it completely. A lot of dryers come with this sensor and not everyone likes that dang sensor.

Grilling the holidays, cookie edition — tips and tricks?
itsheresomewhere replied to Spryte's topic in The Chat Board
We do cookies, cakes and other goodies on the grill. Use the top rack and rotate often. If you don’t have a top rack, put a metal or foil pan in the grill upside down and put the cookie sheet or cake pan on top of it. -
Slightly off topic but for those unwanted gifts- the best use if them I have ever heard of was a school making a gift closet with them. It had a high poverty level and they turned those unwanted gifts into something the kids could “purchase” for a gift for their families. I wish I could find that article but it talked about how this was successful and how much the kids loved it.

I am positive that there are birch trees in heaven. Why, because they need birch beer for those who want the delicious treat. 😃 -
Oven died — Thanksgiving on the grill. How to?
itsheresomewhere replied to Spryte's topic in The Chat Board
I cook a lot on the grill. Everything can be cooked on it and most of it is a piece of cake. You just have to watch it slightly more than an oven. If the dish is oven safe, it can go on the grill. I usually can do stuffing in a disposable pan. You may need to add a little broth as it cooks depending on the temperature you are cooking with. Sweet potatoes go on whole and they cook beautifully. Let them go a bit longer and you can basically have mashed sweet potatoes. I give them a tiny coat of avocado oil before putting them on the grill. If you need to do a pie or cake or brownies, they come out well. I put them on when most things about about half way done. -
I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

powerful anti-perspirant without aluminum?

Lume has such an off putting smell. And let me tell you that smell does not work well with teen workout funk smell. It makes a horrible combo to the senses. In the garbage it went. -
I say go. For us- it is worth it. I am in there once a week. Check out the meat prices as they will have sales that are great. I got briskets the other day for 2.99 a lb! Usually, they have the best prices on bone in rib roast around Christmas.

Help me find the perfect set of dishes

Check out Larah by Borosil. Very similar to Corelle but they are a bit nicer and have more designs. Opalware is similar weight and durability to Corelle. There are several different opalware makers so you might find a color/pattern for you . -
I use Shutterfly. I like it and the coupons are usually pretty good.

I don’t use it as I never could get the numbers to work out well for us. Instead, I put money aside every month in an account just for the animals. If this helps- when my tiny dog’s eye popped out of his socket and he had emergency surgery, what they would have covered was not close to the premiums and what I would have paid if I had used it for that surgery. I was much cheaper out of pocket.

I put a tiny stitch in DD’s one except the thick sports ones. They dry just fine but we hang ours to dry. -
What is the most durable paint Lowe’s has to offer?
itsheresomewhere replied to Indigo Blue's topic in The Chat Board
The Sherwin Williams line they carry is great. Very durable. Sherwin Williams stores should be having a sale very soon if you can wait. It should be about thanksgiving. -
Has anyone here gone Teetotal for non-religious reasons
itsheresomewhere replied to Ginevra's topic in The Chat Board
I don’t drink but not for religious reasons. I prefer to eat my calories and alcohol doesn’t appeal to me. I have no issues with people drinking with me nor has anyone ever had an issue with it. -
Costco has a two pack of personal solo stoves ones that use wood.

The purple mattress goes up for sale a lot on a few local sites. All a few months after the trial period ends. Take a look at Zinus, Casper and if you have a membership the one at Costco that starts with a n. We have a Zinus in our rv for all the beds and I am impressed on how well the have held up. Casper comes up a lot on a few groups and the Costco one I slept on at an air b and b thing. That was really comfortable and had worn very well for a lot of use.

If it was a black Mercedes and had a balding man driving, he hates when you stop for red lights too. He just loves to play a song on that new horn of his. Can you tell I was in front of him the other day?

Before you get rid of the Pyrex- is it PYREX or Pyrex? The one in caps is the one to keep. It is the older ones that don’t shatter like that new ones.

When you can- check out vsp for vision. You can just get it yourself it doesn’t have to be through an employer and they are extremely reasonable.

Best relief for intense shoulder tension?
itsheresomewhere replied to Carrie12345's topic in The Chat Board
The only thing that works well for me is massage. The lady I use really kind of digs in and after her, I have relief for awhile. If I do what I am supposed to do and go monthly, I don’t have the problem. -
