  1. If you grill, sauce pot. That actually looks like the cocoa cauldron that was sold awhile ago. It was a Halloween thing that had a small cauldron and a good size packet of hot cocoa mix for a couple of cups ( I think 2).
  2. Kitchen Aid. I like it and it cleans the dishes well. Plus, it fits my dishes even my large plates well. And if I should ever need to repair it, easy to get parts.
  3. This was available in a store a few years ago and DD tried it on. It just was an odd fit and seemed much smaller than a 12. Even the next size up was just odd ( like the cute sleeve being smaller than the smaller sized dress). ThredUP might list measurements but they have not been accurate quite a few times for me. Two of the dresses I got last year for DD was not even close to the measurements listed ( one was much smaller and one was larger and shorter). And that wasn’t the first time we have had that happen.
  4. For anyone considering buying this- it runs very small.
  5. I had two of mine removed close to 30 as they were causing problems and severe pain. No issues with removal and I was fine a few hours later. I still have two as they are wrapped in the nerves and it would cause so many problems if removed. DS had his remover last year as his were sideways and upside down so they would have done a lot of damaged if they weren’t removed.
  6. Not a small business and there is a uniform so how I dress doesn’t apply to this. Nothing to even see my skills. At one point, we were just sitting there looking at each other. It was just odd.
  7. The poor girl who was thrown the job of interviewing me asked me how this was a working interview as what she googled wasn’t this. It was a complete time waster to me. Maybe it was a test to see if I would run out of there.
  8. So I had one today and honestly I don’t even know how to describe it but as a waste of time/what is this. The office didn’t even know I was coming, the person to do the interview didn’t show up and they schedule the interview for a time when they are closed to clients. The poor person who was told to interview me by the office manager told me she hadn’t ever done an interview much less a working interview. All they had me do was sit there and watch them answer phones. It was just odd. I want my couple of hours back. The one later this week called me to explain what their working interview is- they just want to make sure I can handle the place and get along with all the staff. I know most of the staff from the years so we are going to have a bit of fun.
  9. Marketplace is easy. I do not ship and just have them meet me in a neutral location ( usually the one shopping plaza with a massive well know store in front). Unless the item is huge and needs to be picked up at my house. For kids clothes- either by the bag full or I donate it to a wonderful thrift shop that really gives back to the community ( all proceeds go to the food pantry they have and towards the free community meal).
  10. I know both businesses- one very well. The one I know very well tends to keep the older employees well and mostly the younger ones leave. In all the years I have dealt with them, the staff seems to have a nice working together environment- joking with each other type thing, going out a few times a year for mental health ( most recently an ax throwing place) etc . The other has had a lot of changes/restructuring and I haven’t kept up with it all. The person who interviewed me seems to be fairly new and a bit young/clueless on how to interview. But the owner who I would work with I have known over years has always seemed nice. Both companies have very decent Glassdoor ratings. I guess we will see how it goes.
  11. Top that with puff pastry instead of pie crust and that is one delicious meal.
  12. Not unreasonable in what you said to me.
  13. Right out of high school I applied for a job that gave a personality test that every 10th question was “do you hate your mother?”. It was hilarious, odd and sticks out still in my mind many years later.
  14. That is kind of what I thought. I am just confused about this being 4-5 hours interview.
  15. The personality tests are still around. The odd interview was just odd. Only asked what words like courage, integrity, perseverance etc meant to me. Not a single thing pertained the job just an hour of what words meant to me.
  16. I hope someone does chime in. Personally, I don’t know anyone who has done this as I have only heard about it from a group a few years ago.
  17. I never saw shepherd’s pie with a crust until I moved up north. I think it is regional thing.
  18. The noodles are thinner than a usual dumpling noodle.
  19. It depends on the area and culture on what they call it. And how it was explained to me by someone who is a Mennonite- it is pot pie as the filling is cooked in a pot. Think of it the same way that as the disagreement about hand pies.
  20. During canning season, I make pickles outside as the smell can stay for awhile especially with the amount I am canning.
  21. The noodles are thin and it is literally the pie filling basically. Whereas dumplings are thicker and the tastes are not the same.
