have you scoured Craigslist for cabinets? People sell them on CL all the time. Also, if you have a Habitat for Humanity ReSTore near you, they also sell cabinets.

I agree. I can't figure out people here that easily. Is anyone else amazed at people's ability to remember screen names AND backstories?? I often remember one or the other but rarely both. And, of course, with the above happening I rarely remember poster's names anymore. :blink:

I have a vaulted ceiling. Never again. Even with a pellet stove and ceiling fan it is COLD in the winter. It does look beautiful and ours backs up to the woods. Stunning views... but not worth it when I'm freezing.

Ours has lasted a long time. One of the things I do like is that it will remind you that the toner is low of course. Don't believe it. Keep going until YOU see a difference in the quality. I don't remember the last time we changed toner - over a year for sure. My previous printer (not laser) would stop working when it decided the ink was low. The only thing I miss about the ink jet is the color printer.

do you have someone else you can grouse about it with. Sometimes just talking through it (complaining) helps me tremendously. Do you have someone else who can be your sounding board?

There is a train terminal in Newark... it's within walking distance of the college. Bolt!! Yes, that's the one.

I can usually change it while I'm watching a show. If the show is on, hit the down button. (The one you us to navigate to a show when you''re in Netflix) That should bring up subtitles... click on "English" then something like "okay" or "turn on" or something.

You say you're going to build a house on the property. Who is going to build it? Are they going to be in danger of this dog while on your property? Who will be responsible if the dog attacks a construction worker on your property? This is in addition to be very concerned for my children. If I bought 100 acres I would expect my children to have the freedom to roam safely and explore their property (proper ages of course) To me that would be a wonderful benefit of owning so much land. I would probably walk away from this property, if possible.

My dd went to school at UDel and took the train to the BWI station, which was the easiest for us to pick her up from. My other daughter has taken it from Philly to BWI. Amtrak prices aren't too bad along the NY/DC corridor. Have you checked the prices on their website? It's pretty easy to navigate. We once had dd go to the Calverton station. Much worse part of town and a bit further for us to get to. The BWI station is super easy to get in and out of and traffic isn't nearly as bad as it is around the DC beltway. If you're coming from NY then the fast bus is supposed to be a great way to go from DC/Baltimore to NYC. It's got a name but I don't remember what it is. It's the one a lot of day trippers take to NY so they don't have to worry about parking so they can see the sights and catch a play. edited to add: For the fast bus there is a station in Wheaton. I dropped dd off there and it's not bad.
