    Peter Pan. :crying: My oldest dd was sad when my ds told her he died. She loves all things Peter Pan.

    I like the Usborne Playtime books called, I Can Draw Animals and I Can Draw People for beginning drawing. Draw Write Now is a step up from these.

    2nd grade is when I start formal spelling. I focus on phonics and reading in K and 1st. :)

    My ds will be reading this year for 6th grade and he is 11. I remembering reading Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn in Jr. High and loving them. :)

    Ok, so I have a Benjamin and my aunt attempted to call him Benji when he was a new born. I do not like the name Benji at all. I did not confront her about it I just said, we call him Benjamin, or Benny and I'm sure when he is older he will go by Ben(which he does now with his friends). I think her reaction was a bit over the top but I understand. :lol:

    Yes we will! My oldest will do RtR, second Preparing, third finish LHFHG and start Beyond, and I might start Little Hearts with my youngest part way through the year. This will be our 5th year with HOD. :)

    I find it cheesy and dare I say twaddle. ;) I do not see what is unchristian about the original Mother Goose.

    Yes, our local fire house does and it is a brand new building. We took our kids to a field trip there in January and they showed the kids how they go down the pole. ;)

    My ds has struggled with math more this year than usual too. I think it is an age thing, and 5th grade math really is much harder than previous years. I'm going to have my ds use Khan academy this summer. I hope that Singapore 6 is more of a review year like I have heard. ;)

    The real wording is taught. Sometimes they introduce it with simpler names first but they do teach the real terms. If I remember right these are mostly used in level 2.

    My Dd had a piece of glass in her foot. I showed it to her regular doctor and he sent us to a podiatrist. The podiatrist removed it fairly easily. I think I would take him in. Glass in the foot is really painful.

    I buy my son the Sporti Polyester jammers from swimoutlet also. Do you have a local sports store that sells suits? You could have him try some on there to figure out his size and then buy online. ;)
