    3 more weeks of core subjects, and then one week of review/projects. May 21st will be are official last day.

    I picked up a small kids book about the human body at Goodwill a few weeks ago, and dd4 loves it. She keeps wanting me to read it to her. Yesterday she asked me if we could get a bigger body book. Any recommendation for a kid friendly anatomy book? dd is very bright and loves being read to.

    How about Phonics Pathways? It's easy and inexpensive.

    ds(6.5) his reading has really taken off. I felt like we struggled and fought through phonics last year. We are almost finished with Phonics Pathways now and he is reading at close to a 3rd grade level.

    I started requiring my ds around 4-4.5 to do work 3 days a week for like 15-20 min. Then we started K at five 4 days a week for a little longer. dd is 4.5 and I just started requiring her to sit and work with me 4-5 days a week. Before that it was optional, but she always chose to do it anyways.

    Well we have 4 kids age 6.5-5 months. My dh works from 5:30-2:15 or a little longer some days. I rarely go anywhere when he is working. We do school when he is at work. My two oldest kids do swim lessons, and dh takes them while I stay home with the babies. My oldest does soccer and basketball etc., but only one thing at a time. Dh is coaching soccer right now for ds. We generally do all are shopping together.
