  1. I would continue to encourage her to speak to her pastor about her martial issues. Other then that, I would listen sympathetically but offer no advice.
  2. Harry Potter or anything sci-fi or fantasy😊
  3. I got our oldest daughter a pair of leopard print shoes, which seem to be all the rage in NOVA, and a pair of short boots. She also received some boot socks, a candle, wick trimmer and snuffer. She loved it all but especially the shoes/boots.🎄Youngest daughter and SIL received their gift early, a generous check for a new patio set. It came in handy when they had 13 people over for Thanksgiving dinner.😊

We’ve told our girls the same thing about the money😊 We have a friend as the executor and we’ve promised her she wouldn’t have to make decisions about the more valuable property. Someone mentioned selling, that’s a great idea if they don’t want it😊 We are about to get the items appraised to have a better idea of their value.

DH and I have 2 DDs. We have been slowly getting our affairs in order so when the time comes, things are easy on our executor. DH has 2 rings and I have 2 rings, which are of some value. We can’t decide how they should be distributed and who gets to pick first. I would welcome your thoughts if you have been on the receiving end or have made a decision regarding your more valuable personal effects when you have more then 1 child. Thanks!
  7. Crave out time to exercise at least 5 times a week, a brisk 30 walk counts, eat a small salad before you eat dinner, just watch the amount of dressing you put on, limit carbs and replace with an extra helping of veggies. If you don’t want to eat it, don’t bring it in the house. I rarely buy ice cream or chips. I make cookies but save hubby around 6 and give the rest to a neighbor. I suggest changing one thing at a time and do that for two or three weeks until it becomes a habit. Then go on to the next thing. You can do it!
  8. SIL sounds high maintenance🙄Stick to your guns and have dinner when you want it.
  9. This was done in the house we bought. IMHO, the deglazing of the wall tiles held up better the the bathtub. We eventually gutted the bathroom, 4 years later. The previous owners had it professionally done.
  10. Someone gave me one years ago. I only use it to make cookies, banana or pumpkin bread, which I do one a month on average. I use it at Christmas to mix my peanut butter balls. I have the perfect place to put it on my counter so there’s that. Honestly, I’d get more use from a toaster oven, which DH would like. Unfortunately, the KA spot is too small for that. It doesn’t sound like you need one so don’t feel bad for saying that.
  11. After spending 30 years as a military spouse, I learned never to make those kind of plans. Life does change and I try to adapt, sometimes poorly.🎄
  12. Not a cookie but how about homemade peanut brittle? I love it but I seem to be in the minority🧐
  13. DH and I have started to find our rhythm since his retirement. Our youngest DD and SIL are only a 4 hour plane ride away vs a 12 hour🎄
  14. Church Wash and fold laundry Tidy up the house Fix dinner
  15. DH takes care of the cleaning for mine. He runs white vinegar through it and also cleans the spout where the coffee comes out. I’ve had mine for 6 years. It’s a Kuerig.
  16. I’m sorry for your loss🙏🏻

    Tacky!

I’ve never worked a job where I got a bonus🎄I also would never assume how much money a business makes or doesn’t make unless I’m doing the books.
  18. I’ve used spicy sausage with hamburger when making lasagna for adults. If I’m making a meal for someone, I use just hamburger. I prefer ricotta although I’ve used cottage cheese too. To make things even easier, I use Ragu instead of doing the canned tomatoes and paste.
  19. Lifting your sweet daughter in prayer🙏🏻
  20. Your daughter was a beautiful bride🌺
  21. Youngest DD surprised DH and me by showing up on Friday night from San Diego🎉Weekend plans were shot and Monday’s are too🎄Revised plans for Monday: Go out to bunch at one of DD’s favorite places Go to commissary to get SIL his favorite diced tomatoes to make his salsa. DD wanted a can for his stocking stuffer, the rest we’ll mail. Punt on afternoon plans and see what DD wants to do on her last day🎄
  22. I would but I like living on the edge😜
  23. I feel better about all the baking and candy making I’m doing next week😊 I have about six trays of goodies I make for the neighbors, that I all know.🎄
