haircare in the zombie apocalypse

Hershel and Carl are the only ones whose hair is growing out.

Rick has some curl that requires product. Maybe he found a tub of dapper dan in the prison, or some axle grease.

Carol must have some sewing scissors tucked away somewhere.

Michonne's seems most practical. That is until she needs it redone. Other than Woodbury, where can you sit for 3-4 hours to have your hair braided.

Yes, it is a show about zombies, and I'm worried about hair.

Ohhhh. I've heard of this show, but not seen it. I may need to check into this. I feel so left out!

I have also wondered how Carol's hair is staying so short and neat....someone in the group must have some hair cutting skills. As far as product for curl, I think it's just head grease from unwashed hair.

You are right, it could just be scalp oil working to his advantage.

Season one and two are on netflix instant. It is very gory.

Woot! I'll check it out tonight - thanks! I'd just finished watching all the Law&Order available on Netflix and was looking for something else. (Don't judge me - I'm sick and stuck in bed!)

I have no clue what you are talking about, but it sounds interesting anyways.

I think I'd like a zombie apocalypse because then for once my hair would be in style.

Exactly.

Since scissors would be in short supply I'd have to grow out my bangs. I better permanently attach a hair scrunchie to a belt look just in case. Cause you never know when the zombie apocalypse will begin.

I've had similar questions about the appearance of the living. It also seems to me that it would be very dark in the prison - since ther is no electricity. There must be several natural light sources in that particular lock up because it is always so bright and cheery (for gray steel and cinder block, that is).

You know, I hadn't even thought of that.

I assumed they had some scissors. You did see them in the past try to keep some semblance of a normal life - like Lori doing school with Carl, etc. At least it seems reasonable? I haven't watched the third season, but I will have to rewatch it to see what I think.... I think everything seemed grungy enough. :p
