iona
Hershel and Carl are the only ones whose hair is growing out. Rick has some curl that requires product. Maybe he found a tub of dapper dan in the prison, or some axle grease. Carol must have some sewing scissors tucked away somewhere. Michonne's seems most practical. That is until she needs it redone. Other than Woodbury, where can you sit for 3-4 hours to have your hair braided.

laundrycrisis
I have also wondered how Carol's hair is staying so short and neat....someone in the group must have some hair cutting skills. As far as product for curl, I think it's just head grease from unwashed hair.

Guest inoubliable
Season one and two are on netflix instant. It is very gory. Woot! I'll check it out tonight - thanks! I'd just finished watching all the Law&Order available on Netflix and was looking for something else. (Don't judge me - I'm sick and stuck in bed!) Parrothead
I have no clue what you are talking about, but it sounds interesting anyways. I think I'd like a zombie apocalypse because then for once my hair would be in style. Exactly. Since scissors would be in short supply I'd have to grow out my bangs. I better permanently attach a hair scrunchie to a belt look just in case. Cause you never know when the zombie apocalypse will begin. Slartibartfast
My hair would be a fright (haha!) It is too frizzy and curly, it needs product.
Another Lynn
I thought you were a doomsday prepper worried about stock piling hair care products. :D
butterflymommy
I'm pretty sure michonne's hair is a wig. They had hair care products hoarded up but not baby formula?
KristenR
Or how about being really gross and instead of hoarding product you can run some zombie blood and entrails through your hair-- you know- to keep the zombies away.
elegantlion
At this point Rick may use blood for hair gel. I don't know about Carol's hair, maybe it's a hair condition? Prior Chemo? Maybe slow growth stunted from years of living with a jerk?
elegantlion
My hair would be a fright (haha!) It is too frizzy and curly, it needs product. Yup, I would be the same way. I could keep a weapon hidden in my hair.
Seasider
Who knew? Zombies really do care about their hair....
iona
yes. zombie befuddling hair product. Tame those locks and trick those walkers!
Sisyphus
I read this as "health care in the zombie apocalypse" and I was very, very confused.
mommylawyer
I've had similar questions about the appearance of the living. It also seems to me that it would be very dark in the prison - since ther is no electricity. There must be several natural light sources in that particular lock up because it is always so bright and cheery (for gray steel and cinder block, that is). jeninok
The eagle flies at midnight? What?? Am I missing something, or have you been at my cold medicine? This nearly made me shoot sprite out of my very sore disgusting nose!!
A.Balaban
You know, I hadn't even thought of that. I assumed they had some scissors. You did see them in the past try to keep some semblance of a normal life - like Lori doing school with Carl, etc. At least it seems reasonable? I haven't watched the third season, but I will have to rewatch it to see what I think.... I think everything seemed grungy enough. :p
ChristusG
It drives me crazy that no ones hair seems to grow lol!
KristenR
What's up with all these "mid-season" finales and breaks though? My hubby and I don't watch too much television so maybe it's a new trend. Talk about aggravating.
