Pawz4me
That sounds utterly horrible. I remember times when all the humans were sick, and that was bad enough. I don't remember a time the humans and a dog were sick at the same time. That's really too much. Hugs and lots of get-some-sleep vibes.
Eos
So sorry, Katy, that sounds wretched. Can you get some meds for the dog? Driving away to pick them up might be a good break, even if dh is sick he is at least there for the kids.
Elizabeth86
Nothing worse than being a sick mom with a house full of sick people. I pray it passes quickly. 1

MercyA
I'm so sorry, Katy. Dogs can be given Imodium, Pepto-Bismol, or Kaopectate. Dosing info here.

I was going to post the same thing… Imodium should help and is safe for dogs. Diarrhea is the worst in dogs. Assuming you don’t have a crate to keep from getting the carpet soiled? Maybe try a laundry room or bathroom for the pup at night( daytime some too if needed) so if he does mess it’s easier to clean than carpet? I am so sorry everyone is so sick and you’re exhausted. It’s so hard. I pray for some rest soon for you. Edited February 23, 2023 by Corbster98 2

mommyoffive
Oh man that sounds like the worst. I am so sorry. I hope everyone feels better soon. Yes, diarrhea in dogs is horrible. I second the Imodium because it is safe for dogs and it helps. I hope you get to get a ton of sleep over the next few days to make up for all you lost.

I think that might have been when I threatened him. Thanks for the prayers. I gave the dog a dose of immodium. Most of the kids are calmer. One started vomiting. One’s having diarrhea. DH is working from home with endless meetings today. Two more covid tests are negative. Ugh.... hoping this all passes soon. And glad you gave the pup some Imodium. I hope things settle soon for you and you can catch up on some much deserved and needed rest. Hugs.

Kassia
Thank you for the update. Hope your little one is better very soon. Glad you got some sleep - everything is so much harder when you are sleep-deprived.
itsheresomewhere
I hope all get well soon. It might be that nasty virus that was horrible in my area last month. It wasn’t covid, flu or really anything they tested for. We had a few miserable days here.
