Was going to love this until I realized that a perpendicular line necessarily is at a right angle, so the new line and old lines' "slopes" are irrelevant; calling the new line's slope 3 just means you're calling your old line's slope -1/3.

Apparently I now qualify as a math lawyer. (Do people have a right to a compass and straightedge?)

The same thing was bothering me.   That and figuring out where to put the intercept on an unnumbered line.  

I've recently been in MUS Algebra 1 hell.  It's endless graphing for something like 10 lessons.  Over and over and over again, just graphing.
