Popular Post lauraw4321
She had the results of her PET scan today, and despite all of the dire warnings and indications of spread (based on the enormous size of the tumor) there is NO SIGN of spread AT ALL. Not even lymph nodes. I had prepared myself for there being spread everywhere. It's contained to one breast. I'm still in shock. I went from thinking we had months to being hopeful of years! It's still going to be difficult and she has to get the worst kind of chemo, but there's hope now whereas there wasn't hope before. I prayed for this outcome without really having any faith it was possible. Then I prayed "Lord I believe, help my unbelief." I had to ask the doctor twice because I just didn't, couldn't process it. I don't know why God has given us this blessing, but I'm so grateful. Chemo is still going to be really tough and dangerous, BUT there's hope for meaningful recovery and additional years of life! Praise God.

Not an easy or short path, but one with some hope at the end.
