Renai
I can remember my dad's checking account number that he got in 1977, my childhood phone number, my dad's phone number from my childhood, my granny's phone number (she passed away in 1996), our first central Texas phone number, and other random numbers. I still remember my TX drivers license number. And I haven't been there in 19 years... I also remember one of my childhood addresses, which was a lot longer ago...

Slache
Back from a hike and Babiness did practically the whole thing! I had to carry him by some dropoffs which gave him some adequate breaks but he walked at least a mile and a quarter. He's so big! :crying: Root beer. . . . :zombiechase: :zombie: :zombiechase:They already have this memorized. Incontinence is when you can't hold your pee. (sneeze, drip). She calls, they ask if she can hold...I was trying to be funny. I can only say my childhood phone number in Japanese. I get confused if I try to convert it to English. Jean in Newcastle
Well, the family dysfunction which is the reason that College Buddy spends so much time here is apparently happening again. So I told the boys that they could hang out here this afternoon after all.

Susan in TN
Goodness! It did NOT take almost 2 hours to do the pantry, but I couldn't get online :svengo: , so I sorted and reorganized the gift wrap stuff and made a ukulele song chord chart list. Critterfixer
I'm back from work. My back is in a sorry state what with tripping on the stairs yesterday, driving this morning, getting up and down this morning, driving home, and then wrangling the plastic sheeting to keep the chickie birds warm and toasty during the upcoming deep freeze. They have been burrowing in the straw like rats since the boys fixed their house for them. The plastic goes over the windows and blocks most of the wind. I had a hard day today, and I hurt, inside and out. DH went to get dinner and I think I'll take a hot soaky bath and maybe mess with paint until I feel better.

Paige
I found a new use for my instant pot: making a huge pot of hot tea. I need to experiment with how much honey or sugar to add and how many bags or teaspoons to use, but I think it will work well. Slache
Are MIL and FIL still together? Or does she live someplace other than FIL? Yes, still married and always will be. Another reason to live driving distance. "If something happens" could be as simple as MIL breaking her ankle so the kids and I have to stay there for 3 weeks to tend to FIL. We're not so much worried about being able to drive to their funerals as we are that they could both live another 30 years and no one else will take care of them. They raised 5 kids but none of them came to help when FIL came home. It was a huge mess. He needed 24/7 care for around 6 months but insurance wouldn't cover it. At one point he fell out of bed and hit life alert but his door was locked so they didn't come in to help. They were like "We rand the bell, but no one answered." He needs help with basic life now so if *anything* happens to MIL, even a 24 hour hospital stay he'll need someone and no one will come. They're a wonderful family.
