RoughCollie
Pack for weekend trip for both me and Aidan Clean kitchen Tidy living room, dining room, bathroom Shower/dress/meds  We are leaving at 9 a.m. to go to a collie breeder friend's place for the weekend. Driving about 3 hours. Going with a friend and her two collies. Aidan will have a blast - lots of fenced room to run and lots of dogs to play with. Two of the dogs have recently had puppies. The best part is that the breeder has a big training room and a big indoor agility ring. Everything is heated, so my pup won't get cold.  Aidan was professionally groomed yesterday evening, so he looks great. He has a new blue dragon squeaky toy, so he is ready to roll! Dogs can see blue, and it was the only blue toy I could find at Petco. Seems weird to me that dog toys aren't more prevalent in colors dogs can actually see.  The worst part is that the friend I'm going with just had two operations for breast cancer (she had several different kinds simultaneously), and the friend we are visiting was just diagnosed with it, too.  Get a mammogram as often as needed for your age group!

KrissiK
Good Morning Ladies, looks like we have some busy days here. I was able to get up this morning and go walking. It is so hard to get out of bed and exercise, but it did it. I'm discovering there is a correlation between nights when I have a lot of dreams and my ability to get up easily. I had lots of weird dreams last night, but I woke up fairly easily . Â Dh is taking the day off today, just because he has some time to take off before the end of the year. We have school to do (Fridays are pretty easy - verse quiz, spelling test, Latin quizzes, reading, math and science) and then co-op this afternoon. tonight we're getting a sitter and going out on a "Married People Date". You know, nice dinner (Indian food) and then Lowe's to pick up a replacement window shade, and then Costco.
MomtoCandJ
Mating socks wouldn't be so bad if dh didn't have like five brands that are similar yet different crew length socks. Some solid grey bottom, some with just grey heel and toe, slightly different lengths, different tops... Ugh when we get some extra money, I'm going to buy him all new socks that are the same and throw all the others out. He will have a fit because he thinks its a waste of money because they are perfectly good socks.

She has a temp of 102 and a scratchy throat.     No school for dd, except maybe some reading or read aloud later on, if she feels better. She's asleep now.  Regular school for DS, then lots of playing outside. It is a perfect, crisp, sunny fall day here. Play outside with DS! :)   House cleaning. General organizing - Must. Fight. Entropy and Chaos. Every. Day. Plan next week's school. Write out menus for the rest of November.  Realistically, if I get a good bit of this done I'm having a super-productive day. Jean in Newcastle
My muscles are really tight. Â I've been doing my touch the toes test every morning and most mornings it is the same: Â go down without too much effort to about 4 inches above my toes, put some effort into it to get 3 more inches to about an inch off of my toes. Â Today I was in a lot of pain just bending over at all. Â And even with effort I could only get to about a foot above my toes. Â Getting my socks on was a bit of a challenge. Â I almost had to get my kids to help me this morning. Â I hate this and doctors have not been helpful other than to suggest muscle relaxants which knock me out. Â I slept well last night too with both Gabapentin (low dose) and the CPAP. Â

I hope you feel well enough tomorrow to crank her up.  Sparkle--I'm sorry you have to cancel and hope she feels better.    I think it did my mom some real good to have us all there. She ate better once we were there and seemed to perk up. She was still talking about being tired, thinking it would be better to just go be with God, and telling us to be good to Daddy. After being there, I honestly don't think anything will happen soon, but it's going to be a long road ahead.  Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts! Traffic was fine, but I did go through the city at better times than some.  What a day I'm going to have tomorrow: clean the office we do part-time, shop for and get food ready for the luncheon on Sunday, and go to a home group tomorrow night.
