Tomorrow Is D Day For Me

Sorry for not updating earlier. I laid down when I got home.

There's question about a medical report from last spring. It didn't mention at ALL restictions about my affected arm. None. So, the question they have is, a) does this mean there are NO restrictions (that would make NO sense) B) if they're fine w/what had been specified by all the other drs

Soooo...we don't know what'll happen. 4 options.

1) They decide that there's about a dozen other drs that have all stated the same thing, and go w/that.

2) Ask for clarification from the panel that made the report

3) Ask for a new panel and new report

4) Assume that restrictions would've been specified, therefore there's no reason I can't use the affected limb.

we'll hear something in the next 4 wks.

We've known from the get go that the medical report was carp. that was the reaction of my union rep. The focus seemed to be more on my homeschooling than on my disability in the interview portion. I assumed that was b/c they know RSD and didn't need details, but, the bias on behalf of the one specialist was very, very clear. He flat out asked me how I could hs and not be able to work.

Sooooo, we don't know which way the appeal board will go. Obviously, option 4 is NOT a good one for me, and would be a ridiculous conclusion, given the reality of what I live w/, but you never know. Asking for clarification, a yr after the report worries me, b/c what will they remember, and the specialist w/the bias having another say...that freaks me a bit.

We wait and see.
