  1. I don't have a specific recommendation in that price range, but I just used wag.com and was very happy. They often have sales and coupons with free shipping and they list food with total price and $/lb. There is also a dog food rating site that you could google.
  2. We've been looking at these mattresses, but I'm concerned that you can't return them. Which model did you get and how did you decide? Love to hear more about your decision process and what else you considered.
  3. My son's tonsils and adenoids were not significantly large, and if the sleep study hadn't reported OSA they probably wouldn't have been removed. However, when the ENT went in for surgery, she found that they were both much larger than expected. She explained it like belly buttons, some have an innie and some have an outie.
  4. My youngest son had his adenoids and tonsils out almost a year ago. While it's greatly improved his sleep apnea, we're fairly certain that it hasn't fully remediated the problem. We watch carefully and will likely go back for another sleep study.
  5. If she says that it's painful to urinate that would be the first sign of a UTI. If you've also seen blood I'd head to the doctor today. They are very uncomfortable.
  6. If you do decide to go with a helmet, please be very careful of the other hazards that could create. I specifically remember that kids should not wear helmets at the playground because it's a hanging hazard. A chin strap could easily get caught on a railing, toilet paper dispenser or cabinet handle and choke your little one.
  7. Aloha, Tigard, and Lake Oswego are all nice suburbs of Portland. All I really know is that Lake Oswego is VERY expensive. I think Aloha less so, but it's a nice area.
  8. He definitely knows how to boot up the computer and get around areas that he shouldn't. Something about root files and all kinds of stuff that I understood when I was 20, but 15 years later mean nothing to me. Typically the skills aren't being used for negative behavior. Hopefully one day they'll actually be put to good use. The " i devices" as we refer to them cause far more problems then the computer does in our house. Internet gets shut off every night when behavior can't be counted upon. Sorry to hijack the thread. I actually don't know anything that will do what the OP is looking for.
  9. There are actually lots of ways to get around the parental controls, but you'd have to ask my 13 yo. I don't have the foggiest idea how to do any of it. There's very few choices that can't be gotten around for a computer savvy child.
  10. We really liked IEW PAL. The farm and stickers were a big hit.
  11. What about putting in a double sink base and all of the plumbing, but not cutting out the second hole? That way you would both be getting what you want. You could even buy the second sink and matching faucet to have for future use. I remember using our extra long counter for a changing area as well. I think I'd rather share a sink if I still had babies around.
  12. Thanks Jean. I do actually take books there sometimes, but they only offer a good return if you use it for trade and I want to try and get some cash out of this curriculum. If memory serves this was a page where you could sell yourself, similar to the boards here, but local.
  13. Just bumping up. I was hoping that maybe Jean would know the answer. If I recall correctly it was Milovany who posted originally about it.
